Mainly figure skating, she was interested in it after watching it on YouTube.
Nina walked in and greeted R.C.
Nina:" Hey R.C "
R.C :" Hello, Nina"
They both hugged each other they were more becoming like Mother and daughter.
R.C learned a lot from Nina, she was very grateful to her.
Nina: " Hey R.C, I have been thinking that maybe we should give you a new name."
R.C looked at her surprise never really thought about that.
R.C": Well, that name is what everyone calls me. But I do have an actual name."
Nina looked up in surprise.
R.C:" My..My name is Suki"
Nina:" Suki, I like that. "
Nina:" Wait, that name reminds me of a song"
Suki:" Wait, what?"
Nina spoke to the microphone on her remote.
Nina:" A Taste of Honey, Sukiyaki."
The video played
Nina:" I remember this when I was in high school it was based off a old Japanese song.
A taste of honey did a remake of it,"
After the intro the song play where Suki saw a lady in a kimono
Suki:" Wait, she is playing a Koto!"
The words hit Suki like a train they have a bitter meaning.
The lyrics made Suki sing along with it.
Suki:" but in reality you and I will never be, because you took your love away from me"
The koto solo played which entranced Nina and Suki its beauty.
The woman sung so soulfully that they were moved to tears.
Suki:" That was weird, I did not know African Americans made a song based off of Kyu Sakamato " I look up as I walk. "
Nina:" I guess with music it is a universal language. "
Suki:" Lets listen to the original."
Nina :" Alright,Suki"
The two listen to the song enjoying the mixture of cultures and the love of music.
Nina hold Suki close to her keeping her new daughter close.
