Surprise

Idina's POV
A/N: Sorry I wanted to skip everything.
If/then is finally over, I am now 9 months. Today is March 22 and my due date is March 27. We have a party tonight for If/then. The boys will go to my moms while we go. I just throw on sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt and fix up my makeup. Throw my hair up in a messy bun and I'm ready. We get loaded in the car, and dropped the boys off at my moms. Then we drove to the theater, to have our party. We got there and everyone gave me and James hugs. It was kind of half of a baby shower for me too. Although I told everyone to give James the presents because I didn't want to know what the baby was. We were sitting at the table eating our If/then cake. When I feel something trickle down my leg. I don't let it bother me, until a lot of it trickles out this time. It puddles on the floor, I looked at James scared with my mouth gaped.
"What's wrong?" He asks concerned.
I look down.
"My water broke." I half whisper half scream.
"Can you hold on, we don't have much time left?"
"Yeah I'm sure I can." I nod breathing in-and-out. Jenn reaches her hand out to help me up, so me and her can dance but I shake my head.
"Come on." She pouts. I shake my head. James said we don't have much time left. Yet here we still are an hour later. My contractions are starting to kick in. And they're getting a little more powerful by the minute. Then a big one hits,
"Ahh, fuck." I scream clenching my stomach. Everyone came rushing over to me to make sure I was alright.
"Are you alright?" LaChanze asks.
"Yeah, my water broke about an hour ago. And-Ohhoooo." I breathe.
"We gotta get her to the hospital." Jenn said helping me up.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Anthony asked.
"I told James. He said we wouldn't be here much longer. But..." They helped me into the car and James drove away to the hospital with Jenn, LaChanze, and Anthony following behind. We get in and the doctors sit me down in a wheelchair. James check us in and runs to my side.
"Fuck!" I scream shifting positions.
"What? Are you okay."
"Well, this doesn't exactly feel good."
We get to the room, James helps me change into my hospital robe and lays me down on the bed. A doctor walks in a couple minutes later.
"You're about, 7 centimeters dilated."
"Ahh, Fuck, Fuck, Fuck. Well this baby obviously isn't messing around. It wants out." I scream. The doctor walks out and we lay there for a while. I bounce on a yoga ball. It helps get the baby closer to coming, and I want this baby out of me NOW!!! The doctor walks back in,
"How do you wanna do this? Do you want to do it naturally, a water birth. Do you want an epidural?"
"Naturally, in the water." I breathe. She is about to walk out and another contraction comes.
"Fuck, I change my mind. I want the epidural. I want the epidural. I scream. She comes back and injects the epidural in my arm. My body immediately relaxes,
"Ah, that feels nice." I say smiling. I look up at the ceiling after it really kicks in.
"Ha, James look. There's a dog on the ceiling. I point to the ceiling and laugh. Just then another contraction comes and I'm snapped back to reality. I take the hospital robe off and get into the bathtub thing.
"Okay Idina, I need you to push." I nodded.
"One, two, three. PUSH!!" The doctor yells. I push as hard as I can.
"Ah, fuck!" I scream. I push again as hard as I can.
"Okay three more pushes like that and your baby will be here. Push!!" The doctor yelled. I push squeezing James' hand as hard as I can. James screams with me this time. Cause I'm squeezing the shit out of his hand. I push once again.
"Okay come on Idina, one more push. And our baby will be here." I shake my head.
"Ah, fuck. No I can't, I can't do it."
"Yes you can Idina, you're a fighter." I push once again. I hear a loud popping sound, and then crying fills the room. They help me back up on the bed as they clean my baby off. They weigh the baby and wrap the baby up the out the baby on my chest.
"Congratulations, on your beautiful, healthy little boy."
A/N: Aww, okay I have two names that I can't chose between. Matthew Declan Snyder or Noah Joshua Snyder. Matthew got 4 votes already and Noah has 2. COMMENT PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW!!!!😩 I think I like Matthew more than Noah tho. Did you think they were gonna have a girl?? Welp nope. Not yet.
