Deja Vu

They always said that it was dumb to fall in love with your best friend.

But Y/N L/N did not realize it until now.

"Yuki!" A seven-year old Y/N smiled happily as Yuki came running towards her and hugging her.

"Y/N," Yuki giggled adorably as he patted the girl on the head, "wanna go to the park with me?"

"Of course," Y/N exclaimed happily, "wanna get some banana milk on the way?"

"Definitely," Yuki chuckled as the two walked towards the nearby 7-Eleven.

"Y/N, meet my girlfriend, Hana!" Yuki smiled happily as a pretty-looking girl bowed to Y/N.

"Nice to meet you, Hana," Y/N smiled happily, yet painfully, masked it in her own thoughts.

"Nice to meet you too, Y/N," Hana smiled kindly.

How could I ever hate her? Y/N thought, she's such an angel.

"Well, do you two want to go to the park for a walk?" Yuki asked as Y/N looked at him, a wave of deja vu suddenly washed up to her.

"Of course! Want to get some banana milk on the way?" Hana suggested happily as Yuki hummed before nodding and bending down to kiss her.

"I--I need to go back and finish some papers I need to grade," Y/N said urgently, hoping to sound real.

"Really?" Han asked naively, "sure! I hope to see you again, Y/N!"

"See you," Yuki said shortly as he looked at Y/N with concern.

Plastering a fake smile, Y/N waved goodbye to the two before running away, her heart beating quicker and tears threatening to fall down her face.

"You fine?" A handsome stranger asked her with concern.

Y/N looked up at him with a tear-stained face.

"Here, I've heard that having some banana milk helps brighten a person's day," the stranger said kindly as he handed Y/N a carton of banana milk.

Then, he left Y/N, staring curiously at the man before she looked down at the carton.

In black sharpie, were the words: Wanna see me again? Text 090-xxx-xxxx ;)

Grinning sheepishly at the note, Y/N smiled sadly as she realized that she should move on from Yuki.
