Smile

"You should smile more often," Kento grinned.

Y/N looked at Kento coldly, "you expect me to smile when my parents passed away today?"

"You should smile because your parents are looking at their daughter proudly from heaven," Kento said.

And Y/N did crack a smile, even if it was the tiniest one.

"Hey, smiley girl," Kento said, "I didn't catch your name."

"Y/N L/N, and you are?" Y/N said.

"Kento Miyaura, it's a pleasure to meet you," Kento said as he lifted Y/N's hand to his lips and kissed it.

"I like your smile," Y/N admitted as Kento's grin widened.

Five years later

"ANNNND.......KENTO MIYAURA HAS GOT HIS SPKE THROUGH THE BRAZILIAN BLOCKERS, WINNING THE SET!" The announcer hollered as the crowd cheered with applause.

Y/N was in the crowds, clapping.

She ran down to the court but her grin faded when she saw Kento hug another girl.

Showing a pained smile, Y/N turned her back to leave but not before she felt someone wrap their arms around her waist.

"Why the frown? You should smile more often, pretty girl," Kento said as Y/N turned around.

Y/N stood there, looking up to Kento's eyes, stunned.

Finally, she cracked a small smile, just like five years ago.

Kento then couldn't resist himself. He kissed Y/N, in front of the whole team and crowd.

Wolf-whistles, cheers, and surprised gasps could be heard.

Y/N herself was surprised as her cheeks tinted with red.

"Looks like Kento got himself a girlfriend," Yuji chuckled.

Ran bursted into imaginary tears as he said, "our little Kento is growing up!"

"Oh shut up, Ran, I'm older than you," Kento hollered at the giggling younger male, "I like you, Y/N. Would you go out with me?"

"How can I say no in front of everyone?" Y/N joked, "just kidding. I like you too, pretty boy."

The whole team and crowd cheered at the response as the new couple kissed again.
