My Biggest Setback

Lust is my biggest setback
A temptation that I can't neglect
It pulls me in with its alluring charm
Leaving me vulnerable and unarmed

It's like a fire that burns within
Consuming me with its passionate spin
I try to resist, but it's hard to fight
For it's a force that feels so right

But as I give in to its seductive call
I realize that I'm heading for a fall
For lust is a quicksand, it drags me down
Leaving me lost and wearing a frown

It blinds me with its blinding light
Making me forget what's true and right
It's a mirage, a false paradise
That only leads to heartache and lies

But in this struggle, I won't give in
For I know that true love will win
I'll break free from this lustful hold
And find a love that's pure as gold

So I'll keep my head up and stay strong
For I know that I can't go wrong
With determination and faith by my side
I'll conquer this setback with a confident stride

And when I look back, I'll see
That my biggest setback was meant to be
For it taught me to rise above
And find true love, my ultimate love
