My Life Hit Restart

Lying still, in a dreamless sleep
My body broken, my soul to keep
A coma took me, to a world unknown
A place where time stood still, and I was alone

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to years
But for me, time did not appear
I was trapped in a void, of endless night
No escape, no hope in sight

My loved ones cried, and prayed for my return
But in that coma, I could not discern
Their voices or their tears, I was in a daze
Lost in a world, where nothing could faze

But then one day, a miracle did occur
My eyes opened, my mind a blur
I was back in the land of the living
A second chance, a new beginning

My life hit restart, a clean slate
No more regrets, no more hate
I saw the world with a different view
Everything was bright, everything was new

I learned to appreciate, the little things in life
From a simple smile, to a peaceful night
I found strength, in my darkest hour
And found beauty, in every single flower

I was in a coma, but now I’m alive
No longer just existing, but learning to thrive
I won’t take a single moment for granted
For I know now, that life is enchanted

So when you feel lost, and life seems too hard
Just remember, my story and take it to heart
For even in the darkest of times
There’s always a chance, for a new life to shine.
