Beneath the shadows and in the night
Lies a truth that's hidden from sight
For every word that has been spoken
Is nothing but a twisted token
They say they care, they say they know
But their words are just a wicked show
For every promise and every vow
Is nothing but a trap, a web to sow
Their tongues are sharp, their words are slick
But their hearts are black, their souls are sick
They'll spin a tale, they'll paint a lie
And watch you fall, without a sigh
They'll tell you tales of love and light
But in reality, they thrive in the night
For every smile, there's a hidden knife
And every touch, will bring you strife
They'll whisper sweet nothings in your ear
But don't be fooled, they're full of fear
For their lies are like a poison dart
Piercing your soul, tearing you apart
They'll say they're sorry, they'll beg for forgiveness
But don't be fooled, it's just a clever business
For in their eyes, there's no remorse
Just a hunger for more, an endless source
So heed my warning, don't be deceived
For everything they've said is just a weave
Of deceit and malice, a dark disguise
Beware of those whose words are nothing but lies
