Been Through Trauma

Through the depths of pain and strife
I've journeyed through the darkest night
Trauma's grip held me tight
But I refused to give up the fight

It tore me apart, shattered my soul
Left me broken, with no control
But I rose from the ashes, strong and bold
For the fire within me never grows cold

I've been through hell, faced my fears
Conquered the demons, dried my tears
I found strength in the depths of my pain
And now nothing can hold me back again

With each step forward, I leave behind
The scars and wounds, that once defined
For I am not a victim, but a survivor
With a fire in my heart that burns brighter

I've learned to embrace the scars
For they remind me of how far
I've come, from that dark place
And now I stand, with grace and grace

So to all those who have been through trauma
Know that you are not defined by the drama
You are a warrior, with a story to tell
And your strength and resilience will forever dwell

So rise up, and spread your wings
Let your brokenness be a beautiful thing
For you are a survivor, a shining star
And nothing can ever dim your light, no matter how far
