Hello Again...

Hello again, my old friend
It's been so long since we last met
I thought our story had come to an end
But here you are, back to make me fret

I remember when we first said hello
Your smile shone like the sun
I was swept away, I couldn't let go
But little did I know, our love would come undone

We were like two birds flying high
In a sky of endless possibilities
But as time passed, our wings began to die
And we fell, crashing into harsh realities

Hello again, my dear
How I wish things could have been different
But now all I feel is fear
For our love, once so vibrant, is now distant

I see you now, with someone new
And my heart breaks all over again
I wonder if you ever think of me too
Or if I was just a passing phase, a momentary gain
