One Way To Heaven

A path of light, a road of gold
A journey awaits, so I've been told
To reach the gates of heaven above
One must follow the path of love

It starts with kindness, a selfless act
For others' burdens, we must take them back
A helping hand, a listening ear
In this world of chaos, let compassion steer

Forgiveness is key, to let go of pain
To release the hurt, and break the chain
A heart free from grudges, can soar high
And lead us closer to the sky

Faith is the fuel, that keeps us going
In times of doubt, it keeps us glowing
Believing in a higher power
Gives us strength in our darkest hour

But it's not just faith, it's also deeds
To help those in need, to fulfill their needs
To spread love, to spread hope
To show the world, we can all cope

And as we walk this one way to heaven
Let's remember, we're all brethren
No matter our race, religion, or creed
We're all part of humanity's seed

So let's walk together, hand in hand
And follow the path that leads to the promised land
For in this journey, we're not alone
