He showed us the way
To live each and every day
He taught us to be kind
To leave hatred behind
To forgive and to pray
And to love in every way
He gave us hope and grace
To help us in life's race
No matter what we've done
His love for us will never be undone
He took our sins and pain
And in return, we gained
A chance to start anew
And live a life that's pure and true
He showed us the power of love
Sent from the heavens above
To heal and to unite
And to make everything right
So let us spread his message
And live with faith and courage
