Stepping back, I admire my hours of hard labour.
"Bri what you think?" I ask wiping my sweaty hands into my PJs. Chuckling she shakes her head at my nervous form.
"How are you going to get him here?" She stands from the stool and stations herself beside me, examining my work too.
I swipe my hands at the sides of my head, laying down my frontal. "I know where his family lives. Aunty went there to get the bag from him last month. It's supposed to be a surprise either way." I tell her walking away to my room.
My eyes scan the decorated bed, contemplating if it's too little or what. I've spent the last 2 days here getting everything for the surprise.
