Nose pitched and head tilted back, I allow the bitter contents of the cup to fill my mouth.
In one big gulp, it makes its way down into my stomach leaving me crouched over the kitchen sink gagging.
Triszan lays a hand on my back rubbing it in a circular motion with a giggle. "I know it's nasty but wouldn't you say it's good?"
I shrug her off and flick on the faucet bending my knees so that I'm able to place my stuck-out tongue underneath the running water.
It washes away a bit of the bitter taste bringing me some sort of ease.
Triszan slides another cup that's filled to the brim towards me. I cock an eyebrow at her shaking my head.
She lifts her hands in the air. "They work together. You can't take that one and don't take this one Mari."
I point at the glass. "When since we start add this one to it."
Every day is a new addition and while deep down it feels like this is working, I'm still a bit skeptical.
Triszan lifts a book towards her face listing off the ingredients that are supposedly in the cup, pointing to each of them on the counter and listing off their benefits.
She ends right as Azriel drags her feet into the kitchen.
Hands outstretched and open Azriel treks towards me wrapping her hands around me and nuzzling her head into my chest. "Good morning." Her words come out muffled.
I lower my head and peck her lips splitting my attention between her and Triszan.
"It's nothing we haven't taken already it's just that this time they are mixed, Mr Montique," Triszan confirms sliding the cup closer.
