Harper was talking with Ron, walking back towards the castle but stops when he sees Mr. Crouch talking with Harry, and he knows exactly what Mr. Crouch is talking to Harry about.
"What is he doing with Harry?" Ron questioned, having seen the same thing Harper had seen and started walking towards them. "Harry!" He said, wrapping his arm around Harry who looked up at him and Harper with relief showing in his eyes.
"Is there something you want with Harry, Mr. Crouch?" Harper asked, looking at Mr. Crouch. "If there is you can tell us as well." He said, with Ron nodding with agreement beside him.
"Did you two decide to be his parents?" Mr. Crouch asked, looking at Ron and Harper.
"Yes, something's wrong?" Ron said without hesitation, arm still wrapped around Harry's shoulders who had relaxed against him.
"No, nothing." Mr. Crouch said and turned to walk away.
"What's up with him?" Ron asked, watching Mr. Crouch walks away.
"Harper looks like he knows." Harry said, looking at Harper who have his eyes narrowed on Mr. Crouch.
"He's trying to give Harry the Ministry's summer internships." Harper said, looking away from Mr. Crouch to his two friends.
"Bloody hell..." Ron said, shaking his head.

Hermione, Ron, Neville and Marcus trail Hagrid himself through the trees. Harry walks with Harper, some distance ahead.
"I remember when I firs' met yeh all. Bigges' bunch o' misfits I e'er seen. I supposed yeh reminded me o' me a bit. Now look at us all, four years on." Hagrid said.
"We're still a bunch of misfits." Ron said, looking out for Harry and Harper even though they're farther than him.
"Sure. But we got each other, don' we? And we got Harry!" Hagrid said before calling ahead. "Soon to be the youngest Triwizard Champion there's e'er been!"
Harry smiles softly at the sound of his friends' cheerful voices and the gentle evening breeze, then winces. Grabbing his scar, gaining the attention of Harper who's walking beside him.
"What's wrong Harry?" Harper questioned, confused as to what had happened. He looked through the trees ahead, the reddening sky shimmers like blood. He instantly recognized these woods, looking at the figure lying in the brush, losing his breath. "No..." He breathed out, looking at the still body of Mr. Crouch.

Harper looks out the window where far in the distance, a group of teachers-- eerily illuminated by the torch Hagrid clutches-- stand in a dark circle at the site of Mr. Crouch's body.
He sighs, standing up and walks towards Ron's dormitory, entering without knocking and walks towards Ron's bed where the Weasley is already waiting for him.
He goes under the blanket, letting Ron move the blanket over him and let Ron wrap his arm around his waist, pulling Harper into his chest where the Granger places his hand and head on top of Ron's chest and sighs.
"It's not your fault, Harper." Ron muttered, stroking his thumb on Harper's hip.
"It feels like it is." Harper murmured, looking up at Ron. "I saw how he died."
"Maybe it changes?" Ron suggested, shrugging his right shoulder. "I mean last you've looked at Harry's vision. It was on the train when Moody was the professor, wasn't it?"
"Yes..." Harper said after a minute of silence.
"Then it's not your fault, Harper." Ron said, letting Harper move closer to him, burying his face inside the crook of his neck.
"Goodnight, Ron." Harper said, closing his eyes. "And thank you... for everything."
Ron squeezes Harper's hip, closing his eyes. "Goodnight, Harper."

"What d'you suppose it was? On Karkaroff's arm?" Ron asked, with him and Hermione stand on one side of the bridge, while Harry and Harper stand on the other.
"Dunno." Harry responded, shrugging.
"Boomslang skin and lacewing flies? You're sure those were the two ingredients Snape mentioned?" Hermione asked, frowning in thought.
"Positive. Why?" Harry asked, looking at her.
"Well, he thinks we're brewing Polyjuice Potion, doesn't he?" Hermione said, looking at Harper who seems deep in thought.
Harry looks into the distance and sees Neville and Marcus, Neville's nose is buried deep in a Herbology book, walking across the grounds.
"I don't care what Snape thinks. I've got bigger problem than detention." Harry said, looking off again. "Something's coming. Drawing closer. I just don't know what it is..."
"Guys, I'll see you guys soon." Harper suddenly said, leaning away from the wooden bridge, getting the attention of the trio.
"Where are you going?" Ron questioned, leaning away to look at the brunette.
"Give Cedric a riddle and hope he understands." Harper said, looking at the three who look at him.
"Can you give me a riddle?" Harry asked, a hopeful look on his face.
"In shadows deep, he bides his time, A specter rising, fueled by crime. A whispered name, a chilling dread, From darkest depths, he'll soon be fed." Harper said, not waiting for a response and walks away before they can question him.
"That sounds creepy." Ron muttered, looking at Harper who disappeared from his sight.
