Harry, Ron, Harper and Hermione sit together in the Great Hall. Ron is stuffing his face with food, watching Harper doodling away on his parchment. This time Harper is doodling a snake, why? Ron have no idea.
Harper notices that Harry didn't eat his breakfast yet and looked up from the parchment. "You need to eat something, Harry." He said, pushing his plate towards Harry to share his food.
"Harper's right, Harry. You're going to need your strength today." Hermione said, turning her head to look at Harry.
"I'm not hungry." Harry muttered, tensing when Professor Snape appear before the quartet.
"Good luck today, Potter. Then again, now that you've proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you. Even if it is against my boys." Professor Snape said, smiling and limps away towards the Slytherin table.
"That was disturbing." Harper and Hermione said simultaneously, Harper watching Professor Snape talks with the Slytherins.
"I tell you what's disturbing. Snape smiling." Ron said, stealing some of Harper's food from his plate making the brunette smile at him.
"That explain the blood..." Harry said, gaining the attention of others.
"Blood?" Hermione questioned.
"Last night, Ron and I saw Snape heading for the third floor. I'm guessing he let the troll in as a diversion, tried to get past the three-headed dog, and got himself bit. That's why he's limping." Harry explained.
"But why would anyone go near that dog?" Hermione said, letting out a small laugh when Harper instantly said 'I would'.
"Listen. The day I was at Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. Said it was Hogwarts business. Very secret." Harry said.
"So you're saying..." Hermione trailed off.
"That's what the dog's guarding. That's what Snape wants." Harry said.
"But what's safer than Gringotts?" Ron asked.
"One place, according to Hagrid. Hogwarts." Harry said.
"Well, whatever it is, it must be really valuable." Hermione said.
"Or really dangerous." Harry added as an owl flies into the room.
"Bit early for mail, isn't it?" Harper asked, looking at the white owl.
"That's Hedwig." Harry said, recognizing the owl as his own and watch as she swoops down with a long, thin package. Harry slips Hedwig a piece of his uneaten toast and strips open the parcel and finds a sleek mahogany broomstick. "It's a broomstick." He said, staring at the broomstick.
"That's not a broomstick, Harry. That's a Nimbus Two Thousand." Ron said, looking at the broom with awe.
"But who...?" Harry glances around the room and sees Professor McGonagall looking his way before she quickly looks away.

The stadium is full to the brim. Ron, Harper and Hermione join Neville and Seamus at the Gryffindor section and unfurl a banner that reads 'Potter For President'. As the Slytherin and Gryffindor teams take the field, the crowd roars with excitement.
Harper watched Oliver and Harry talked between themselves before Madame Hooch, wearing a referee robes and talking with the players.
The whistle blasts as Madame Hooch kicks the crate, releasing two screaming Bludgers, then tosses up the Quaffle.
"Quaffle's up..." Lee Jordan, the commentary for the Quidditch, began. "And straight off taken by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor. What an excellent Chaser that girl is, and rather attractive too, I might add..."
