You are stressed out because of all the things that you have to get done by midnight tonight. As a result, you forgot that it's Valentine's Day and that you are supposed to have a romantic dinner with Bailey. You were really busy with your work, to the point that you didn't notice that your phone was going off like crazy with texts and calls from Bailey. Before you know it, there's a knock at your office door. You open it to see Bailey with a panicked look on his face, which then shows a mixture of anger, confusion and relief. He asks you why you didn't reply to his texts or return his calls. You look at him confused and then look at your phone to now see them on your Lock Screen. You look at him with guilt written all over your face and tell him about how you forgot about your date with him because of all the things that are due by midnight. You apologize for making him worry and for not remembering your date. He kisses your forehead and says "Hey Darlin' it's okay, I was just worried that something happened to you or I did something wrong and upset you somehow. I forgive you, I had no idea that you had all this stuff that needed to be done so soon. We can wait till tomorrow to have our date and just go to a different restaurant instead or I can just grab some stuff from my truck and we can have a mini romantic dinner here, so you can finish your work on time before it's due." You look him in the eyes with tears starting to form in your eyes because of the stress and because of how sweet he is. You kiss him and say "Which one is easier for you, Bails, since I forgot about it?" He looks at you and says "How about we just have the mini-romantic dinner here, plus chances are, you need a break." You look at him and say "Is it that obvious?" He just chuckles to himself and says "One mini-romantic dinner coming right up, babe." Before you know it, your office is full of mini flameless candles and a picnic basket is placed on your desk. Bailey has a bouquet of red roses in his arms and softly places them near you, taking in the sight of you in the zone. (Auto zone...lol jk), (see the picture above). He softly kisses your forehead once more, before he opens the picnic basket and starts to distribute the contents to each of you. He tells you lightly that you should take a break and eat. You agree and thank him again for everything. He smiles at you and says "Don't mention it, I'd do anything to help make you less stressed and to see you smile, darlin'." You end up finishing all of your work a few hours later and you end up driving back to Bailey's place separately. Marley was really happy to see you guys and wanted all of your attention, of course. You guys gave her some well-deserved pets and then you both walk over to his couch and sit down. You move closer to Bailey and you look him in the eyes while saying "Happy Valentine's Day, Bails, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I love you." He kisses you slowly and then pulls away to say "Darlin' you have been the best thing in my life and to have ever happened to me, since the day that we first met. Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful, you have no idea how much I love you. I love you too so much." You may have cried a little bit upon hearing those words. Bailey reaches up and wipes your eyes, then kisses your cheeks, while smiling at you blushing from his movements. You then lean in and kiss him for bit until Marley has enough of not having any attention and runs to the back door and scratches at it to be let out. You two sigh and you offer to get up and let her out, but Bailey insists on being the one to do so, seeing as Marley is his dog and all. So he lets her out and then walks back over to where you are with a smirk playing on his lips. You look at him confused, but that look goes away when he sits back down and leans back in to kiss you some more. Soon after you, both sigh upon hearing scratching at the back door again. Bailey is pretty pissed at Marley rn and so are you. You guys end up forgiving her because she doesn't know and plus she's a dog, who doesn't speak English, except for the common ones that dogs can understand. You guys end up letting her back inside and decide to give her some extra attention. You guys end up having a family or group cuddle session on Bailey's bed. Where he sneaks random kisses and so do you, all without Marley even knowing. ____________________________________ Here are the two updates for this lovely Valentine's Day as promised, I hope that they have helped you get into your feels a bit!
