Imagine:
You and Bailey decided to throw a pool party at his place and it turned into a full-blown bash in a matter of minutes. You guys were celebrating the release of his latest single and wanted to have his favorite people be a part of the celebration. He invited all of his friends and family. The band showed up and brought their favorite people as well. His entice team showed up and even a number of his friends in the industry showed up. You guys had a chocolate fountain and a full bar for the party. You guys had a karaoke machine and a dj too. Bailey even went up to the dj booth and mixed some of his tracks into the Dj's set. He also requested you guy's song sometime during his time by the dj booth. He did it so that you two could dance to in the middle of the dance floor (or more like your guys living room). You two both swayed to the song, feeling like it was just the two of you and no-one else was there, while ignoring the teases from your friends. You two also ignored the wolf whistles that erupted, when you two kissed at the end of the song and caused you two to pull away with a red tint on both of your faces. Bailey grabs your hand and leads you to the kitchen to get you both some drinks. He also did this to get some time with you, away from everyone else and to get some food. You grab both of your drinks and he gets food for you both. You both set the stuff down on one of the counters and smirk at each other, while staring into each other's eyes, waiting for the other to make the first move. Bailey wraps his arms around you and pulls you closer. Your arms go around his neck and you both slowly lean in. You share a passionate, yet slow kiss that leaves you both breathless and wanting more. You both forget about your drinks and food for a bit, until you realize that you both haven't eaten anything yet and that you are so thirsty. You pull away from him, even though you really didn't want to and say "We will finish this later, Bails. We gotta eat something and I'm really thirsty right now."
Bailey looks at you like you're insane at first, but realizes that you're right and keeps his wrapped arms around you.
He looks at you with a pout on his lips, but he stops when you softly kiss his nose.
You unwrap your arms from his neck and walk over to the plates of food that you grabbed for both of you. You hand him his plate and drink, and kiss his cheek, before grabbing your own plate and drink.
You lift your drink up and do a mini toast with him for the new single. After you both take a few sips of your drinks and eat some of your food, he wraps his arms around you again and leans his back against the nearest counter. He whispers in your ear "I'm so glad that you are here and able to celebrate this with me, Darlin'." He tucks a hair behind your ear and kisses your neck, before pulling you closer to him once more, by your waist. You laugh and say "Bails, we have a house full of people who are probably wondering where we went and I'm really glad that I'm here too." You reach your hand up and move some of his curls around and kiss him softly again.
The music that the dj is playing is drowning out the sounds of the party that is happening a room away from you both and you both don't hear the kitchen door open nor do you hear the sound of four paws with decent size nails make their way across the kitchen floor towards you. You realize that you two are not alone in the kitchen anymore when you feel a cold nose hit your leg and it causes you to jump away from Bailey a little bit. This causes Bailey to sigh in an annoyed tone and say to Marley "Mar, go on and leave us alone for a bit, we will give you some attention in a bit, alright?"
Marley doesn't take no for an answer and starts barking at you both. Bailey grabs her collar lightly and leads her out of the kitchen. He returns back into the kitchen and to your arms, a mere minute or so later. Smiling at you before chuckling and saying "I guess she's still not used to me having another lady in my life." You laugh and kiss his lips, before taking another sip of your drink. You then grab his hand and lead him back into the party, where he had a bit too much fun that night. He had a bad hangover the next day, which Marley made sure he knew that she was still upset with how "dad" (as Bailey refers to himself in relation to her) treated her the night before, when all she wanted was to be with her two favorite people by barking like a crazy, right near Bailey's side of the bed, straight into his ears. This caused him to groan and call for you. You came back into your room with some aspirin and water for him, which you placed on the nightstand next to him. You told Marley to leave him be and assure her that he will be in a better mood once the aspirin kick in. Plus you might have promised that he would play with her for a bit and give her extra pets too. Bailey on the other hand, wanted you and only you at this moment. You were about to walk back out of the room, when an arm wraps around you and lifts you onto the bed. Bailey says in his morning voice with a smirk on his face "Where do you think you're going, baby?" You laugh and say "I was going to take care of Marley and then relax for a bit, Bails." Bailey pulls you in to his chest and says "She can wait and you can relax here with me." You laugh and rest your head on his chest to take a quick Power Nap.
