You are currently sitting down at a local bar in the outskirts of Nashville waiting, for Bailey to arrive. Before long, you decide to order a drink to pass some time. You feel a hand on your shoulder and turn to see a perfect stranger staring at you. You politely ask Can I help you?" (I want to add a Bruh or dude at the end of this sentence so bad, but I digress). The random guy opens his mouth and says with a smirk playing on his lips: "Hey you seem lonely, how about I keep you company for a while?" You smirk back at him and say "How about you don't, you are clearly not my type and besides I'm waiting on my boyfriend to arrive." He keeps his smirk (which is so weird because most guys get the hint at I have a boyfriend, clearly this guy doesn't get leave me the heck alone, anyway... where was I.. oh yeah I remember now, lol). The guy keeps his smirk on his face and says "You know, if I was him I wouldn't have let a pretty face like yours wait here all alone." You hear the door to the bar open and see a familiar head of brown curls come into view. You turn to the guy and say "Well it's a good thing that you're not him." Bailey slowly walks over to where you are sitting, not even noticing the guy at the table behind you staring at you both. Soon you feel a pair of arms wrap around you and a kiss get placed on your cheek and eyes on you. Bailey apologizes profusely to you for being so late and that's when the random guy chimes back in, about scaring the carp out of you both. He says "Oh so this is the little boyfriend that kept you waiting here by yourself, honestly sweetheart, what does he got that I don't? You can do so much better than him." While he is saying this, he is starting at you with a mischievous smile, but once he finishes the last sentence starts sending Bailey daggers. When the two of you move away from the guy, he loses it and starts to plan a way to get you alone and away from Bailey. Once you guys finish eating, Bailey excuses himself from the table to go use the bathroom and leaves the table. The guy from before swoops in and takes Bailey's seat and says "Now, you see that I am better than him and you should be with me instead." You stare at him like he is literally insane and say "I've never seen you before in my life before tonight and I plan on never seeing you again ever, leave me alone." He takes this as a sign to move closer to you, to the point that Bailey's chair, that was once opposite of yours, is now right next to you. The random guy is now inches away from you and is trying to take your hand, but you slap his away. You quickly stand up, while still telling him to stop and go away. You breathe a sigh of relief, when you see Bailey walk towards your direction again, but then you feel the guy from before grab your arm tightly, so that you face him instead of Bailey. Bailey walks up to you and sees the guy. The guy is currently saying to you with that same smirk as before "You are such a stupid girl, he doesn't care about you can't you see that, all he wants is for you to wait around for him to available, that is until he finds another girl that is better than you in every single way, isn't that right, man?" Bailey finally heard what the guy said and is literally seeing red at this point. He roughly grabs the guy's hand which is currently attached to your upper arm and yanks it off of you. He grabs your other arm gently and pulls you behind him, so that he is now standing between you and the guy. He looks at the guy and says "What did you just say to her about me?" The guys (who is clearly not thinking right) replied with everything that he had said to you with a smirk on his face. He even added "What are you gonna do about it, man?" Bailey had hit his breaking point and snapped. He started with "I'm gonna show you what I'm going to do about it man." (Add a snear with a bit of sarcasm for when Bailey says man). Before you know it Bailey throws a punch and it hits the guy in the gut. You are in pure shock at this moment. The guy then said to Bailey "Is that the best you've got, Curly Fry?" He then sees you once again and says "Hey pretty girl, how about you and me go and get out of here and leave old Curly Fry here alone, 'cause let's face it you and me belong together." (Well dude it was nice knowing you...not really😬) Yeah, Bailey punched the guy a lot after that comment and was saying to him "That first punch was from her and the others are from me." The guy did try and fight back by punching Bailey a few times and there was a lot of bruising on both sides. The fighting finally ended when you decided to grab a hold of Bailey's arm, which was around the guys head and tell him that the guy isn't worth it. He realized that you were right and says "Let's go home, I'm really tired now." You agree and say "Just a second, Bails." You quickly walk over to the guy who is now leaning against a wall trying to stand up with all the bruises and kick him where it really hurts. You say "Now that one was from me." You walk back over to Bailey who is literally smirking almost smiling at you because that was pretty bad ass and hot (in his mind, lol) and say "Now we can go home and I can help you clean up your mess that you call a face." He looks at you with a hurt facial expression and pouts. You grab his chin and say "You know that I was just kidding, right?" He looks at you with those bright eyes and says "Yeah I knew that you were, darlin'" You both walk in silence to the car. Bailey lets go of your hand for a minute and opens the passenger-side door for you and kisses you quickly, before getting into the drivers seat. Once in the car he takes your hand again and kisses it. He looks you in the eyes and says " You know that, I would never leave you or keep you waiting on me to be there, right?" You reply back with a soft kiss and say "Right, that guy was trying to flirt with me before you got there and plus we both know that I wouldn't leave you in a heartbeat." Bailey smiled at you and kissed you once more. Then he put the car in drive and drove you both back home to Marley May. The picture above was included in the headlines, the next day on the news and online. You guys explained to everyone and their brother what happened and the guy didn't end up pressing charges against Bailey or anything. So you guys all lived happily ever after, the end.
