r/g/n = random girl's name
Imagine:
You and Bailey are currently running errands together around Nash. You guys are in the grocery store. You are staring at the list in your hand, when you hear Bailey say under his breath "No way, why now of all times?" before he tries to turn the cart in the opposite direction in the aisle of where you guys were standing. He tries to hurry you and the cart out of the aisle before whoever is making him act all weird, notices him. Before you two make it to the next aisle, you hear a girls voice say "Bailey, is it really you?" You figure that it was just another fan and just stand by the cart, waiting for him to either sign something for them or take a quick selfie with them, before resuming shopping with you. Much to your surprise, he turns and looks at this girl that you realize is his ex, like a deer in the headlights. He says "Oh hey r/g/n, good to see you, how've you been?"
She tries to get closer to him as she answers him, but Bailey moves closer to you instead. He wraps his arms around you and says " r/g/n, this is y/n, my girlfriend. Y/n this is my ex girlfriend r/g/n."
You both exchange quick hi's before Bailey starts to talk again. He tells her "We really need to be going through, right, y/n?" You just say yes and tell her that it was nice meeting her, before focusing on the next aisle that you guys had to go down, for the next item on your list.
When you guys get to the aisle that you needed, you pull Bailey aside and say "Why were you acting all weird around r/g/n, Bails?"
He takes a deep breath and says "She was the first person that I met and dated, after I moved here and we didn't exactly end our relationship on the best of terms, honestly."
You look at him puzzled and try to figure out how that would make him act all weird around her.
Bailey realizes that you are processing what he just said and he brushes some hair out of your eyes. When you realize that you have been staring into space for a bit and become embarrassed, he says "Let's just finish our shopping and go back to the house, alright, Darlin'?"
You agree and tell him where you guys needed to go next in the store. Before long you guys were walking back to his truck with the groceries and a few new toys for Marley.
