Charlie is your best friend and is meeting Bailey for the first time. He is telling Bailey (your boyfriend) a funny story about you and him (Charlie). One time you guys went extreme sledding and instead of being able to stop at the bottom of the sled hill you guys were at you went straight through a chain-link fence and ended up stopping in the middle of a hotel lobby. (Pretend you somehow made it though a busy intersection and somehow managed to get the sled to stop at the lobby's front desk, basically picture the sledding scene from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.) You ended up being fine after you crashed into the front desk of the hotel but are since banned from entering it, because of the damage that you caused to their front desk and some windows. You are not there when Charlie tells Bailey this story, so you only see this picture (the one above) and figure that he is laughing at a joke that Charlie said to him and not at your sledding disaster.
Bailey later texts you about it and says "So I met your best friend Charlie today and he told me that you aren't allowed to visit the local hotel until you've paid them back for your little sledding incident. Never knew that I was in love with a criminal, darlin'."
You text Charlie and say to him "Why did Bailey just tell me that he knows about the sledding incident of 2013? I thought we both agreed that no one would know about it!"
He replied back with "Will you relax y/n? We were 13, why are you still worried about people knowing about it? Besides he needs to know incase he ever tries to take you there and sees your picture on the wall under the sign that says do not allow them in at all costs."
You ignore Charlie for a few and instead reply back to Bailey, with the following:
"Well, it happened when I was 13 and I am not allowed to step foot on that property ever again because of it, no amount of money will ever change their minds. If that makes me a criminal, then so be it I guess, lol."
Bailey replied back with:
"Then that makes you, my little criminal , darlin'."
You reply with:
"Please don't tell me you've changed my contact name in your phone to that 🤦♀️😬."
Bailey only replied with "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, Darlin'. 😏"
(Newsflash: he did have your contact as that for a little bit, that is until you saw it and got / didn't get mad at him for putting that as your contact. You choose if you were upset at this contact change or not, lol)
You replied to Charlie and say:
"Who in their right minds bans a 13 year old girl from a hotel lobby, takes their picture and then has the police place them in a holding cell for 2 hours on Christmas Eve, for wrecking a hotel lobby desk and a few windows, because of an out of control sled?"
Charlie replied back to you and agreed with what you said. He then told you that he had to go and record his new single.
Bailey had to go preform on his tour, but promised to FaceTime you as soon as he got back to his hotel room. You guys end up talking all night until you guys finally fell asleep on FaceTime.
