"One day, you're seventeen and you're planning for someday. And then quietley, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life." -John Green

I was sitting in an old wooden chair. It was very uncomfortable but I didn't bother to adjust. Everything felt the same.
"Mr. Tomlinson, please answer the question."
What was the question? Who was talking to me?
I didn't know. I didn't care.
I scanned the room. It was small and all four walls were gray. There was a door to my left and a large window next to it. There were faces looking at me, the faces of my mum and Anne. My sisters.
I was sitting in a chair at a table. There was a man and a woman in front of me in uniforms.
A cough, then the man spoke again. "Mr. Tomlinson, please."
I looked at my hands. They were clean, like I had washed them recently. They were soft, so I must have used soap. My clothes were clean as well, though they were not the same clothes I remembered having on the side of the road.
I guess it didn't matter, because I didn't remember anything from that moment anyways.
The man closed his eyes and put his hand over his mouth, rubbing is jaw irritably. The woman sighed and sat on the table next to me.
"Louis. Will you talk?" She asked in a more gentle tone, a tone I would much rather respond to than the way the man was speaking to me.
I shrugged.
The woman said, "Can you please help us? Answer some easy little questions?"
She didn't seem threatening, so I nodded hestitantly.
She smiled and patted my shoudler, then rounded the table and took a seat in a chair in front of me, the man silently joining her.
"Now, Louis, before Harry was taken the first time, did you ever feel like someone was watching you?" She asked.
I shook my head. No one was watching me that I knew of.
Wait.
Fuck you, Louis.
I gulped, then slowly nodded as I remember one occurence that took place.
"Care to elaborate, son?" The man asked in a gruffy voice.
I lifted my eyebrow at him, letting him know I wasn't going to answer to him if he spoke to me like that.
The woman gave the man a frustrated look and looked back at me. "Would you feel more comfortable if he wasn't here?"
I nodded.
After the man left and it was just me and the woman, she smiled warmly at me. "I'm sorry about him, he's...tough." She laughed a little. "My name is Anna. I'm Harry's lawyer."
I nodded again, not knowing how to respond to her.
"So. I don't want to pressure you into anything you don't want to say. But did you ever notice anything that you could remember?"
I nodded. I did remember a certain time.
Anna nodded back, obviously waiting for me to respond.
"It happened a few weeks before Harry went missing. He was sneaking in my window and..." I trailed off.
Anna nodded again, waiting calmly for me to continue.

Louis lay on his stomach on his bed, studying for his mid-term. He wasn't really studying, he just a book open so that he could think he pretend he was. He was really waiting for Harry to get there.
