I dry my wet hair with a towel off the rack, wiping the fog from the mirror hung above the sink. Shit- I grimace at the bags under my eyes.
That car ride did not do me justice.
Morgan left soon after Kaia said there's nothing we could do about the room incident, and I could almost laugh at how stupid it looked.
Poor him, having to share a room with the poor kid.
I inwardly groan as I hear the hotel doors open and shut, folding the damp towel up before tossing it into the dirty laundry bin.
I hold onto the edge of the sink while looking at myself in the mirror.
I can't tell wether or not my drained look is from Morgan, or the long car ride. Either way, both factors don't make me look too good.
I can't hide in here forever, I think with a small sigh. I don't look in his direction as I walk out of the washroom, running a hand through the damp strands of brown hair.
The peaceful silence lasts for a few minutes, before he finally decides to ruin it with his obscenely disruptive voice.
"Of course you're here."
I glare daggers at him. "Where did you want me to go, outside?" I sit on the corner of the king sized bed.
He hums. "Good idea, weathers not too bad." My head turns and looks out the window, rain pouring.
Loathe-I loathe him.
I flick on the light on that sits beside the bed, that rests on a short nightstand. "Agreed. It's probably nicer out there then in here." I look at him with a fake smile. "With you."
He hums with a tilt or his head. "Women would pay to be in the situation you're in now, sweetheart." My eyes widen as he pulls the shirt off his back.
I force my eye to remain on his upper half, not because I like him, but because I'm merely human.
And as much as I dislike him, he's attractive.
I cross my arms while his shuffles around in his suitcase. "You already showered?" I observed as he tosses a clean pair of sweatpants onto the bed.
His back muscles flex as he stands back up from his crouched position, and he throws me a look. "Mhm." He looks unamused at my confused expression.
Before I could speak again, not that I was planning to, he turns around and locks himself in the bathroom for the second time in the span of our excruciatingly long day together.
