"Fuck is you crying for?"
Closing my trunk, I looked behind me. Maj is walking towards me with Nezhai, who was crying.
"What did you do?" I asked him and picked up Nezhai.
"I ain't did nothing yet. But head inside, it's the second-floor door to the right" he said handing me his keys.
"Um, okay" I mumbled looking at the set of keys.
This man trust me to go inside his house by myself already. Just giving me his keys like I'm his girl.
After watching him run back to his car, I made my way into the building. Nezhai eventually stopped crying and laid his head on my shoulder. When I got to the door, a girl was standing there on her phone.
"Excuse me" I mumbled.
"Who the fuck are you and why are you holding my child?" She took Nezhai from my arms.
"Yaya" Nezhai cried and reached out for me.
Seeing him cry and reaching for me started to break my heart. If she's his mother, why wouldn't he want to be with her.?
"Well I was trying to take him inside, so excuse me" I stepped around her.
Using the keys given to me, I attempted to unlock to door. When the door didn't open, she pushed my arm.
"That's not answering my question"
"Don't put your hands on me" I held my hand up before she could push me again.
She stood there looking stupid. I don't even know this girl and I want to smash her head into something already.
"Okay but why do you have my son? Where is Maj?"
"Don't worry bout me, just get gone" Maj spoke.
I slightly jumped as I heard him come up behind me. My breath catches in my throat and chills flow through my body as he gets closer until he's up against me.
"You letting bitches hold him now?"
"Call me another bitch and ima show you one" I slid my purse from my shoulder.
Maj's fingertips trail down my arm. As I glanced down at his hand, feeling him breathing down my neck. It gave me a feeling I never felt before, something different. Like he could make me do things I wouldn't dream of.
"Don't let her bother you" he whispered in a deep husky tone.
Taking a deep slow breath, I nodded my head. He grabs the keys from my hand. Keeping my eyes on him, I watched as he took Nezhai from her arms. He unlocked the door and grabbed my hand. I followed him inside.
"Are you serious Maj?"
"Real serious Tory. I don't know why you here anyways" he closed the door in her face.
