I haven't talked to Semaj since he called on Valentine's Day. He hasn't reached out since, but I lowkey don't care despite how much I miss him.
Today is my baby shower and I'm waiting for Tremaine to come get me. Assiah was supposed to be driving me to Ms. Tiffany's house, but he went to Chicago to visit our uncle last minute. Apparently, he got shot, so Siah went to check on him. Amari can't drive me because he blew his engine, like a dummy and I don't want him driving my new car. So once again my only other option is Tre. He was here last night, but he left after I fell asleep.
While waiting, I went live. I'm lowkey hungry, so I'm about to snack on some ice cream.

I ate a big spoonful of ice cream before closing the jar. I grabbed my phone and purse, then headed towards the front door.
"Team boy and to be honest, he might really be gay if he talking bout he don't like sex" I mumbled.
As I walked out the front door, I locked it and closed it. I glanced down at the comments and I walked down the porch, to Tre's car.

Tre opened the door for me and I got in. The ride to Ms. Tiffany's was quiet, besides me being on live. Tre didn't say much because I was on live.

The baby shower is going well, besides the fact that Semaj isn't even here. I got here two hours ago and nobody knows where he is. I texted and called him, but didn't get a response. His mom doesn't want me to know the gender until he gets here and honestly, I don't even wanna wait for him. I'm actually ready to go home, so I texted Tre to come back and get me.
Maj is really on bullshit right now. All his friends are here, but he isn't. He not even responding to them or his mom. Vonta and Kash left like 20 minutes ago to check if he was at home or the tattoo shop, before I left. But I'm not waiting on him anymore. I can go without knowing the gender of my baby.
"You okay?" Kemiah asked me.
"Yeah," I lied.
"Ma asked if you finna leave"
"Yep, I'm not waiting on him. I ignored the fact that he wasn't here long enough. Now I'm just annoyed, so I'm gonna leave before I say some shit I regret" I started putting my hair up in a ponytail.
"I get that" She shrugged.

I glanced down at my phone, reading the text I just received.

Putting my phone in my purse, I walked through the back gate and went to the front of the house. Maj's car is parked across the street in front of the neighbor's house. I rolled my eyes and turned around. Just as I grabbed the gate, a hand was placed over mine. I pulled away from Maj and he turned my body to face him.
"I know I'm late and-"
I cut him off, "I don't care for an excuse. You was supposed to be here before me, yet you two hours late. Really three because I was an hour late"
"I'm sorry-"
"Keep it. Where Zhai? I wanna see him before I lea-" I paused.
As I glanced behind Maj, I saw Tasha, Zhai, and two other kids crossing the street. The fact that he even brought her here is making me want to put my hands on him. Outta respect for him, I told Tre not to stay. Yet he brought her here without even asking if I was okay with it.
"I'll make it up to you" He shrugged.
"You won't, because I don't want shit to do with you after I today" I walked around him.
"Yayaa" Zhai ran from Tasha.
"Zhai wait-"
"Hi handsome" I picked him up and kissed his cheek.
"Missed you" Zhai wrapped his arms around my neck.
"God I missed your little badass too" I chuckled, as he pulled away.
"Da got girlfriend" He frowned.
"Girlfriend?" I looked towards Tasha.
That explains why he hasn't been on my ass for the past two months. Also explains why he doesn't respond when I reach out about Zhai. It's also crazy how he just tried to take me out to eat on Valentine's Day. But shit hurt even more to know that he really was around her every day since I left him.
"No cry" Zhai wiped my face.
I hadn't even realized that I started crying. I slowly removed his hand from my face and smiled. I hate to do this, but I'm never gonna see Nezhai again and he won't even get to meet his younger sibling. I meant it when I said I wasn't going to be an add-on on baby momma. I'll do everything on my own without Semaj if I have to. It'll be hard at first, but at the moment I really don't want anything to do with him.
"Nezhai I love you so much, okay?"
"Wove you too mommy, but why cry?" His frown deepened and he looked like he was going to cry.
"Because that's how much I love you" I pressed my forehead against his. "I gotta go okay? Be good and remember to count slowly when you feel like you can't breathe"
"Don't go"
"I have to baby" I put him down.
Zhai started crying. I looked away from him, fighting the tears that were trying to force their way out. That feeling I had when Maj first came near me, suddenly appeared. Ignoring it, I walked towards Tre's car.
"Mommy"
I have a feeling Nezhai knows that he probably won't see me again and I hate that. Tory walked out of his life and now I have to do the same because I don't want shit to do with Semaj. I know I'm deadass wrong for doing this to Zhai, I hope Tory really gets her shit together for Zhai so he at least has her, if I'm not around.
