I set Nezhai's bathroom up for Ayariah to take a hot bubble bath. I miss taking a shower with her, but right now I want her to relax and stay off her feet. She's been in there for about 30 minutes. I checked on her a few minutes ago and she was sleeping. I don't wanna bother her cause I know she gone wake up when that water starts getting cold as fuck.
Hearing the doorbell ring and knocking, I paused the game. I jumped out my bed and walked to the door. I'm only expecting Amari to come right now. Kemiah's supposed to be bringing Nezhai home in like a hour. I wonder if he plans on staying that long though.
"Yo" I dapped Mari up.
"Wassup"
"You good?" I asked, closing the door.
"I don't know man. This girl been doing too much and then Miah just moving different. Ain't tripping though" He shrugged.
"I can't even help with that" I rubbed my beard and headed to the couch.
He followed behind me. Shortly after I sat down, I heard my name. One thing Yari gone do is call my name the second I sit down. Blowing out a breath, I stood up once again and headed towards the bathroom.
"Wassup" I peaked my head in the door.
"Shower with me?" She reached her arm out.
Licking my lips, I briefly thought about it. I quickly went into the hall closet and pulled another towel out. Although I just took a shower, I'll take another one just for her. I literally been distant as fuck this past week, so I'm bout to do whatever to make up for it.

Ten minutes later, we finally got out of the bathroom. I'm fully dressed and Yari is in her robe. I ain't even tell her that Mari was here yet, but it's whatever.
"I love you" I kissed her neck and wrapped my arms around her waist, from behind.
"I love you too and thank you" She placed her hand on my face.
"For what?"
"Coming back when I needed you. Even though you was really four hours late" She turned her head and kissed my lips.
"I know, I'm sorry mama"
"Yall disgusting," Mari said.
Yari turned her attention towards him, "the fuck"
Flicking him off, I kissed her cheek. I don't give a fuck if that's her brother, she my girl and ima love on her regardless. I do this shit in front of my momma.
"When you get here?" Yari asked him.
"Like 10 minutes ago, but let me ask y'all something"
"Shoot" I laid on the couch.
"What's a break to y'all? Breaking up or just a lil distance?" He rubbed his leg.
" I can't answer that. Either we cutting ties or we riding this shit out. Ain't no in between." Yari said as she walked to the room.
Ain't gone lie, she hit right on the spot. Cause what the fuck is a break.? I don't even need to think of an answer.
"What she said" I grabbed Yari's gummy worms.
I've been snacking on her shit for a minute. She doesn't even care anymore. Sometimes she does, but it's no point cause ima eat it anyway. As long as Zhai not eating it, we good.
"You heard that? So I got the right to do whatever I want. Since you want a break, I'm single" Mari turned his attention to his phone.
"I never said- alright bye"
"Bye," He grabbed his phone and started scrolling.
Shaking my head, I grabbed the remote to the TV and turned it on. Yari came out of the room wrapped in a blanket.
"Why you was at the hospital this morning?"
"Don't wanna talk about it" Yari pushed her hair behind her ear.
"You good? Somebody else in the hospital? What is it? Cause I'm tired of being the last to know everything" Mari asked, turning towards her.
"Amari, what did I just say?" She mugged him.
"Ight, I'm out. I feel unwanted and unloved" Mari got up and walked towards the door.
"Sorry you feel that way" She shrugged.
Realizing he had my chips in his hand, I slightly sat up. "Fuck you doing?
"Leaving" He put a Dorito in his mouth.
"Leave the chips" Yari snatch them from his hand.
He sucked his teeth and headed out. I can't believe his ass even came over here to ask one question. Yari put the chips on the island and made her way to me. She looks like a damn polar bear wrapped in that fluffy ass blanket.
"What we finna eat?" She asked, lying down in front of me.
"I can order pizza unless you want something else" I wrapped my arms around her.
"That's fine"
"You good?" I asked her.
"Yea, just tired" She mumbled.
I kissed her forehead and started looking for a movie to put on. She slides her hands under my shirt while sinking her head into my chest. I lowkey don't want her to go to sleep without eating, but she gone fall asleep anyways.
About 20 minutes later, the doorbell rang. It's either Kemiah or the pizza I ordered. Kemiah stayed home from school to watch Zhai, while my momma was with Yari and I at the hospital.
"Ma" I rubbed Yari's back.
"Hmm"
"Let me get the door" I tapped her ass.
"I don't wanna move" She turned her head and shifted her leg.
The doorbell rang again, right before there was a knock. She sucked her teeth and got up. I quickly got up to open the door. Just as I thought, it was Kemiah with Zhai.
"Waddup ugly" She pushed her way past me.
I pulled the end of her hair. I know she got that shit done last week, so it probably still hurt.
"Ow bitch" She held her head and glanced back at me.
"Yaya" Zhai ran towards Yari.
This little nigga just past me and ain't say shit. I'm starting to think he loves Yari more than me. How the fuck that work.?
"Watch yo mouth" I shut the door and locked it. I barely lock any doors, but I'm tryna fix that cause Zhai opening doors now.
Miah flicked me off, "Hey girl, how you feeling?"
"Tired, but you and Mari good? He was just here"
"He ain't really been talking to me lately, so I don't know" Miah shrugged.
"I could've sworn he was your nigga" I sat next to Yari.
"That would be weird now since yall together. But he was never my nigga. Anyways what we watching?" Miah asked, lying on the floor.
I'm already knowing she not gone wanna leave no time soon. I really don't care as long as she's gone by the morning. I hate muhfuckas sleeping over here. Except Ayariah.
