A Week Later

The sound of screaming waking me up, causes me to jump up. All I did was lay down for a nap and I'm waking up to screaming. I quickly got out the bed and walked towards the bedroom door. Opening it, I peeked my head out.
"No no, I sorry"
The little laugh sounds so familiar. I walked out of the room, to see Maj holding Lyrix in the air. He threw her up in the air and caught her, before putting her down. She hit him and ran off towards the other hall. Maj shook his head and sat on the couch, next to Zhai.
"Da, is yaya my mommy now?"
"If you want her to be" Maj shrugged
Maj picked up the Nerf gun, next to him. My eyes started watering up and I quickly dried them. Lyrix ran across the living room, towards me.
"Tanti"
"Hi baby" I smiled.
Maj looked towards me and got up from the couch.
"You look fat," Lyrix said, before covering her mouth.
"Yea cause you know you wrong" I mushed her head.
"Go play with Zhai," Maj told her.
Lyrix groaned and walked away. Maj grabbed my hand and closed the room door, leading me to the bathroom. Standing behind me, he kissed my neck.
"When she get here?"
"An hour ago, but Jo and E finna take them to the zoo" Maj spoke against my neck.
"Why we not taking them?"
"Cause I wanna be alone with you two" He rubbed the bottom of my stomach.
I leaned my head against his chest and rubbed my hand up his arm while resting my eyes. Feeling a little kick, I smiled. It wasn't the first kick, but it was the first that didn't hurt. I started feeling them last week and anytime my baby did kick, I was lying down asleep. For once, I'm already up so I won't be waking up to painful kicks.
"Oh shit-" Maj mumbled, pressing down on that spot a little.
Feeling another kick, I opened my eyes. I hope it's a boy, to be honest. Boys don't stay attached to their dad forever. If I have a girl, I already know she is going to be a daddy's girl. Mainly because I've been getting kicked when Maj is up close to me.
"That's the first kick?" He asked.
"No. It's been happening for almost a week or so, but it's been when I'm sleeping"
The light knocks on the bedroom door, caught both of our attention. Maj left me in the bathroom and went to open the door.
"Somebody at the door, poopy," Lyrix said, jumping up and down.
"What I tell you?" Maj put her in the air.
"Poopy" She stuck out her tongue.
"Welp, let's get to the dumpster" He put her over his shoulder and walked out.
Following behind him, I watched as he went to the front door. She started hitting him in the back.
"Girl quit," He said opening the front door.
"My favorite niece," Jo said, grabbing Lyrix from Maj.
"He try put me in the dumpster" Lyrix pointed at Maj.
