Ghostship.

.

Sky had always lived a difficult life. Growing up in a small town, he was constantly struggling to make ends meet. His family was poor and his parents worked multiple jobs just to put food on the table. Despite their best efforts, Sky often went to bed hungry and had to wear hand-me-down clothes from his older siblings.

School was no better. Sky was often the butt of jokes and was constantly bullied by his classmates for his shabby appearance and his poor grades. This only fueled his resentment towards the world and he became a loner, keeping to himself and shutting out any attempts at friendship.

But one day, everything changed. It was a rainy afternoon when Sky met Rain. He was walking home from school, his head down and his hoodie pulled up to hide his face, when he heard a voice calling out to him.

"Hey, you! Wait up!" Rain shouted, running towards him with his bright red umbrella.
Sky's first instinct was to ignore him and keep walking, but something about Rain's persistence caught his attention. He stopped in his tracks and turned to face the stranger.
"Nice umbrella," Sky muttered, trying to sound aloof.

"Thanks, I just bought it. It's my lucky charm," Rain replied with a cheerful smile. He then offered to share his umbrella with Sky, who reluctantly accepted.

As they walked together, Rain didn't seem to mind the awkward silence and instead, he started talking about the rain and how it always made him feel alive. Sky couldn't help but listen to him, intrigued by his positive outlook on life.

From that day on, Rain would wait for Sky after school and they would walk home together, sheltered under his red umbrella. Rain's cheerful demeanor slowly started to break down Sky's walls and he found himself opening up to him, sharing his struggles and fears.

Rain didn't judge him or pity him, instead, he listened and offered words of encouragement. He saw the good in Sky that no one else did and he made him believe in himself.

As their friendship grew, Sky started to see the world in a different light. He realized that despite his difficult past, there was still hope for a better future. Rain showed him that love and kindness existed in this world, and he couldn't help but fall for him.
Rain's love was unlike anything Sky had ever experienced. It was patient, understanding, and unconditional. He accepted Sky for who he was and didn't try to change him.

Slowly but surely, Sky's life started to change. With Rain's support and guidance, he worked hard in school and his grades improved. He also landed a part-time job, which helped his family financially.

And as they walked home together, hand in hand, under the red umbrella, Sky knew that he had found his true companion in life. Rain had shown him that there was beauty in the midst of chaos and he was grateful to have him by his side.

From that day on, Sky's life was no longer filled with darkness, but with rays of sunshine and love. And it was all thanks to a guy named Rain, who had brought color into his once dreary world and showed him that even in the toughest of storms, there is always a silver lining.
