Ram was about to leave his office for the day and lock the door when he heard a familiar voice behind him - it was King. He recognized it immediately and turned to face King, who asked, "Why are you still here? Are you heading home now?" Ram simply nodded and replied, "Yeah, I'm exhausted and just want to go to bed."
But King had other plans. "How about we grab something to eat first? I know you haven't had dinner yet, and there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about for a while now." Ram, feeling hungry and curious, agreed and they headed to a nearby restaurant.
As they were eating, Ram noticed King's hesitation to mention whatever was on his mind. Sensing this, King suggested they continue their conversation at Ram's place instead. Ram agreed and they went back to Ram's old apartment, which he had been living in since high school.
Once inside, they ate and talked some more. King couldn't help but comment on how Ram still lived in the same place after all these years. The two continued their conversation, catching up and discussing the important matter on King's mind. As King almost began to talk, he suddenly realized that it was already 11 pm. And instead of saying what he wanted to say in the first place he says, "I better get going it's already dark out and it's late." But Ram said, "No just stay. I have a spare room."
So, King stayed the night in the spare room.
