It was the last day of their senior year and Tian couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. He and Phupha were getting ready to graduate and move on to college. As they stood outside the school, reminiscing about their high school memories, Tian couldn't hold back any longer.
"Phupha, there's something I need to tell you," Tian said, his heart racing.
Phupha turned to face him, his blue eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it, Tian?"
"I...I have been in love with you since the first day of high school," Tian confessed, feeling a weight being lifted off his shoulders.
Phupha's expression softened and he smiled. "Tian, I have been in love with you too."
They both stood there, smiling at each other, finally admitting their feelings after years of hiding them. And as they hugged, Tian knew that this was just the beginning of their love story.
