"I thought you were better." Man says toward his boyfriend Type.

Type replies, "Well, I'm not so stop fucking assuming I'm okay."

"Then talk to me. Tell me, vent to me because I will sit here and listen, if you're not okay then please just talk to me so I know you will be okay. Tell me instead of keeping it to yourself, please just talk to me. I'm here." Man wanted his boyfriend to trust him.

But Type says, "I can't talk to you about it, not yet but I know deep down I want to."

Man got  irritated and said, "Just fucking tell me, what the fuck is wrong?"

So, Tyoe said straight up, "I want to fucking die okay. That's what I want, alright I don't want to be here if no one else can appreciate my effort, my efforts in living when my mind and my body don't want me to stay."

And then Man tried making the situation a little bit better by saying, "Just stay with me because I appreciate all of you, and the effort on keeping yourself here is a good thing. I'm here because of you and I hope you will stay with me too."

But Type couldn't hide the pain and frustration in his voice as he replied, "But that's the thing, you don't understand. You can't understand the constant battle going on inside my head. You can't understand the exhaustion I feel every day just trying to keep myself alive. It's not as simple as just staying with you."

Man felt a pang of guilt and sadness wash over him. He had always known that Type struggled with mental health issues, but he never realized how deep they ran. He never understood the extent of Type's pain and the constant struggle he faced just to make it through each day.

But he wasn't going to let Type push him away. He wasn't going to let him suffer alone. Man wrapped his arms around Type and held him close, whispering comforting words in his ear.

"I may not understand everything you're going through, but I am here for you. I will always be here, no matter what. I love you and I refuse to let you go through this alone."

Type's walls began to crumble as he leaned into Man's embrace. He finally let himself be vulnerable and shared his deepest fears and struggles. Man listened without judgment, without trying to fix him, and without making any assumptions.

And as the night went on, they talked and cried and laughed together. Man made sure to let Type know that he was loved, that he was not alone, and that he was a strong and amazing person who deserved to live and be happy.

In that moment, Type realized that he was indeed better. Not because he didn't struggle, but because he had someone who loved him unconditionally and was willing to stand by him through the good and the bad.

From that day on, Man and Type grew even closer. They faced each day together, supporting and encouraging each other. And although there were still tough times ahead, they knew that they had each other and that was all that mattered.

Years later, as they stood under the sun, saying their vows and declaring their love in front of their friends and family, Man looked into Type's eyes and whispered, "I thought you were better, but now I know you are stronger than I ever imagined. And I am so grateful to have you by my side, now and forever."
