"You left first. Not me." White says towards Sean.
Sean replies. "Yeah I know I left, but I'm here for you again if you would take me back."
"Take you back? We never broke up, you left without a word, so I waited for you, we are still together." White says making sure his boyfriend knew full well that they never broke up to begin with Sean just left without saying anything.
White's tone was a mixture of heartbreak and anger. He couldn't believe that Sean would just leave without a word. They had been together for over two years, and White had thought their love was strong enough to withstand any challenge. But now, standing in front of Sean, all White could feel was betrayal.
"You never called, you never texted, you didn't even leave a note. You just disappeared." White's voice trembled with emotion.
Sean lowered his head, guilt evident on his face. "I know, I'm sorry. I had some things I needed to figure out and I didn't want to drag you into it."
White shook his head in disbelief. "Drag me into it? We were supposed to face things together. That's what being in a relationship means, Sean."
"I know, I messed up. But I'm here now, and I want to make things right. I love you, White." Sean took a step forward, reaching out to hold White's hand.
But White pulled away, shaking his head. "Love is not enough, Sean. You can't just come back and expect everything to be okay. You broke my trust, and I don't know if I can forgive you."
Sean's eyes filled with tears. "Please, give me another chance. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right. I can't imagine my life without you, White."
White closed his eyes, trying to suppress the pain that was gnawing at his heart. He loved Sean with all his heart, but he couldn't just forget the pain he had caused. After a moment of silence, White spoke up again. "I need some time to think. I can't make a decision right now."
Sean nodded, understanding White's need for space. "I'll give you all the time you need. Just know that I'll be waiting for you, no matter what."
With that, Sean turned to leave, his head hanging low. As White watched him walk away, he couldn't help but wonder if he would ever be able to trust Sean again. But deep down, he knew that their love was strong enough to overcome this hurdle.
Days turned into weeks, and Sean never gave up on White. He respected his decision to take time and gave him the space he needed. And during this time, White realized that he couldn't imagine his life without Sean either. He missed him every day and longed for his touch.
One day, as White was sitting in the park, deep in thought, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Sean standing there, a bouquet of White's favorite flowers in his hand.
"I know I messed up, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. I love you, White." Sean's eyes were filled with sincerity and love.
White smiled, feeling his heart melt. He knew that he still loved Sean, and that their love was worth fighting for. He took the flowers from Sean's hand and pulled him into a hug.
"I love you too, Sean. Let's make things work this time."
And just like that, they were back together. It wasn't easy, but they worked through their issues and rebuilt their trust and love for each other. They learned that communication is key in a relationship, and that true love always finds its way back.
Now, as they stood together, hand in hand, White couldn't help but feel grateful for the second chance they were given. And Sean knew that he would never make the mistake of leaving without a word again.
