The sun was setting over the bustling city of Shanghai, casting a warm orange glow over the buildings and streets. Among the crowd of people rushing home from work, two figures stood out. One was Wei Ying, a carefree and outgoing young man with a mischievous glint in his dark eyes. The other was Lan Zhan, a reserved and stoic man, whose elegant features seemed to be carved from marble.

As fate would have it, the two men found themselves standing next to each other at a busy intersection. Wei Ying couldn't resist striking up a conversation with the intriguing stranger next to him. "Hey there, handsome. What brings you to this side of town?" Wei Ying asked, flashing a charming smile.

Lan Zhan simply nodded in acknowledgement, his lips forming a small smirk. "I live here." Wei Ying's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Really? Me too! What a coincidence. My name's Wei Ying, by the way."

"Lan Zhan," came the curt reply.
And just like that, the two men's paths became intertwined. They would bump into each other at the local coffee shop or the park, their conversations becoming longer and more meaningful with each encounter. Gradually, they became friends, despite their vastly different personalities. Wei Ying was outspoken and playful, always eager to try new things and explore the city. Lan Zhan, on the other hand, was more reserved and introspective, preferring the peace and quiet of his own company.

It wasn't long before Wei Ying started to develop feelings for the enigmatic Lan Zhan, but he tried to suppress them. He knew that Lan Zhan was not the type to open up easily and he didn't want to risk their friendship.

However, fate had other plans. One rainy evening, as they were taking shelter under an awning, Wei Ying couldn't help himself any longer. "Lan Zhan, I have to tell you something," he blurted out, his heart pounding in his chest.

Lan Zhan turned to him with a curious expression, waiting for him to continue.
"I...I think I'm in love with you," Wei Ying confessed, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

For a moment, there was only silence between them. Then, to Wei Ying's surprise, Lan Zhan's lips quirked into a small smile. "I have known for some time," he said, his tone soft and gentle. "You have?" Wei Ying asked, his eyes widening in shock.

"Yes. And I feel the same way," Lan Zhan admitted, his gaze never leaving Wei Ying's.
Their faces were mere inches apart now and without another word, they leaned in for a kiss. It was electric, sending shivers down their spines and igniting a fire within them.
From that day on, Wei Ying and Lan Zhan were inseparable. They spent every waking moment together, exploring the city and each other's hearts. They learned to embrace each other's differences and complemented each other perfectly.

As they stood on the rooftop of their apartment building, watching the city come to life under the stars, Wei Ying turned to Lan Zhan and said, "I never thought I'd find someone who completes me in every way. I can't imagine my life without you." Lan Zhan took Wei Ying's hand in his and replied, "Hate me, love me, worship me. I'm here and I always will be."

And in that moment, as they gazed into each other's eyes, they knew that they had found their forever in each other.
