"Hey, what are you doing here, alone?." Bati nito sa akin.

Im sitting under a big tree, ang presko at ang lamig ng hangin kahit na tirik na tirik ang araw. Vacant namin ngayon at sakto naman na may event kaya nasa court ang ibang mga istudyante. Dito ako tumambay dahil wala namang ginagawa. Wala din si Elle dahil may sakit daw, Ice is also absent and I don't know the reason. I don't have a super close friends in the room at nakakahiya naman na maki-halubilo sa kanila.

"It's so hot kasi, I just want some fresh air." I said. It's Calvin, one of my classmate.

"Hmm, where's Cyrus?." He asked, I Just shrugged my shoulders even if I know where he is.

"Kumain kana ba? do you want to eat?."

"Im not yet hungry, do you want to eat? I'll go with you." He just smiled at me, Im willing to accompany him naman, wala akong kasama at ganon din naman ata siya.

"No, I just want to asked if you ate, your friends are not here and I didn't see you go to cafeteria." I pouted and glance at him.

"Im fine, you don't need to worry about me." I assured him.

"I know, but, it feels weird that you are alone and something pushing me to talk to you. We're classmates, uhm...friends I guess?." I laughed at him.

"Of course." I answered.

Tumitig lang ako sa kawalan, I'm not good at opening conversations or topics, so we are sitting quietly now. Walang gustong mag salita o bumasag ng katahimikan. Wala si Ainsleigh dahil sinamahan niya mag lunch si Chloe, maayos na kami. Bumalik na sa dati ang pakikitungo niya sa akin, pero alam kong may mali, pinipigilan niya parin ang mapalapit sa akin at alam ko ang dahilan noon.

I heard his phone ringing kaya napatingin ako sa kanya, nag excuse naman ito sa akin kaya tumango lang ako. Umalis siya palayo kaya pinag masdan ko siyang mag lalakad na palayo, I think may nag hahanap sa kanya.

I closed my eyes wanting to sleep. When suddenly I feel that someone sit beside me. Napamulat tuloy ako ng mata at tinignan ang taong ngayon ay nakatitig na sa akin.

"What are you doing here?." He asked.

"Sitting?."

He chuckled and shake his head, sinandal din nito ang sarili sa punong sinasandalan ko. It's Ainsleigh, he is now sitting beside me.

"How about you? Why are you here?." Pag babalik tanong ko dito.

"Chloe has a class and It's vacant, I've been looking for you."

"Huh? Why?."

"Elle and Ice are Absent, You don't want to go with our other classmates because you're shy." Napaiwas ako ng tingin, totoo naman ang mga sinabi niya. Kaya tahimik akong napatango.

"I heard that you didn't eat, do you want to eat now?." He softly asked.

Umiling ako at pumikit. "Im not hungry."

"You sure?."

"Yes."

Kinain nanaman kami ng katahimikan, nang bigla niya iyong basagin.

"Is there something bothering you?." He asked out of nowhere.

"Im fine."

"I noticed that you are always preoccupied, when you are asked, your answers are always opposite. Is it still because of what happened to us?" He carefully asked me.

Napatingin naman ako sa kanya, he's worried about me I can feel that. But, that's not the reason. Ilang linggo na din kaming nag iiwasan at ngayon palang bumabalik ulit ang closeness namin. Besides, I've accepted that I'm really just a friend to him, yes I still like him. But I will not push myself any further.
