How many years has it been since I last came home? How many years have I missed the old place I used to lived. I went home that year, I didn't come back to give him a chance. I came back to say I couldn't love him.

Ilang hours nalang at bababa na ang eroplanong sinasakyan ko. Umuwi ako para sa mga taong nag hihintay sa akin, umuwi rin ako para bigyan na siya ng peace of mind. Nakangiti ako habang binabasa ang mga messages na mula sa kanya na hindi ko man lang magawang replyan dahil hindi sa ayaw ko, hindi ko lang gusto na maging paraan 'yon ng pag kapit niya na magustuhan ko rin siya pabalik.

After a long wait the plane begin to go land, then we hear the captain's voice crackled over the intercom, announcing the arrival. "Ladies and gentlemen, we will be landing shortly. Please ensure your seat belts are fastened and all carry-on items are stowed." I sighed, it was a deep one. This was it—the moment I had been waiting for.

I glanced around the cabin, looking the expressions of passengers, some tapping their feet, others scrolling through their phones. They were bored I guess. As the plane tilted slightly on approach, I felt a flutter in my stomach, a mix of nervousness and excitement.

Suddenly, the wheels touched down with a soft thud. The aircraft shake and began to slow, the loud sound of the engines changing as they taxied toward the gate. I started to unfastened my seatbelt, then I gathered my belongings.

As the plane stop, the familiar ring signaled and it was time to get off the plane. I stood, and I joined the crowd moving toward the exit.

l stepped onto the jet bridge. There's a lot of busy people. The overhead announcements echoed through the space, mixed with the sounds of rolling suitcases and excited chatter. I scanned the place, finding Elle because she insisted to pick me up.

I hold my phone tightly, I also checked the time and look again through the crowd of people passing me. The vibrant arrival board flashed colorful destinations, but my focus remained on the faces around, searching for Elle.

'where are you Elle?'

As the time passed by, the busyness of the terminal continued around, people are laughing and embracing. Suddenly, my gaze fixed on a figure came out from the crowd. A wide smile showed up her face, and I took a step forward to hug her, I really missed her a lot.

I let go of my embrace and looked at her. "Oh my!! I missed you a lot. Look at you, you're so pretty." I said. Naiiyak dahil sobrang namiss ko siya.

"Ano ka ba naman! Mas maganda ka kaya, tignan mo oh! super puti mo na ngayon and you got taller than before. Namiss kita ng sobra te." Nag yakapan pa kami bago niya ako inaya na umuwi na.

Ang tagal na rin naming hindi nakakapag usap, Im so busy with school at alam ko na ganon din siya. Minsan naman ay nag uusap kami through video call and minsan sa social media's, hindi nakakalimutang I check ang isa't isa.

Naging mahaba ang pag d-drive niya pa uwi. She got her own condo na malapit sa school na pinapasukan niya. Hindi naman naputol ang kwentuhan namin hanggang sa makarating kami sa condo niya. After a few minutes of driving finally ay nakarating na kami. We got off the car and walk through the lobby dahil nga nag park siya sa parking area.

"Ang daming nangyari nung nawala ka." She said, changing the topic we were talking a while ago.

"Really? Spill it to me." I said dahil gustong malaman ang lahat.

We're here sa elevator hinihintay na bumukas at makarating sa floor kung saan ang unit niya.

"Alam ko namang excited ka rin malaman, k-kwento ko kapasok." I nodded.
