The day went by really fast, parang noong kailan lang ang examination and now it's a holiday because It's all saints day. I don't have any plans. What I do in the past few days is visit my gradparents. Dati kapag undas ay dinadalaw lang namin ang mga kamag anak naming namatay, ngayon ay hindi ata kami dadalaw sa mga namatay na naming kamag anak dahil busy sila Mom and Dad, lagi naman.

I didn't do anything at home, I didn't even go out because I was lazy. Sometimes I help Manang to clean the house and I also clean my room. She also taught me how to do laundry, it was fun that I still had someone to socialize with at home. Elle and others are busy today because it's a holiday.

Even on a holiday, I can't chill because there are so many things to pass back to school. Here I am now, facing my computer and fixing our research paper. I aleeady find an RRL for our Research Paper. I've been facing this laptop for a few hours now, my eyes kept blinking so I rubbed them and closed my laptop.

'Im hungry'

I thought about going down first, because I'm hungry and I've been in my room for a while now. After Manang and I baked some cookies, I locked myself in my room.

I was going downstairs when I heard Mom's voice, Dalawang kwarto lang ang pagitan namin at madadaanan ko ang kwarto nila kapag bumaba ako.

"What the fuck Zach! I just want you to be more careful." The tone of her voice was angry, the door was slightly open so I could hear their conversation.

"Nag iingat ako Railey." Pigil din ang inis ni Dad.

I don't want to listen to their conversation but I can't get out of my place as if I want to know what they are talking about.

"Really? My co-worker saw you two together. 'Yan ba ang nag iingat Zach?." Mom's voice raise a bit as she said that.

'together? who is with dad?.'

My eyebrows furrowed as I listen to them.'Ano ba talagang nangyayari?'

"Why do we have to hide?!."

"Dahil may anak ka Zach, konting konsiderasyon naman sa mararamdaman ng anak natin." I heard mom sobbing softly, I also saw how she sat on the floor while Dad just stood and looked at her with his angry eyes.

'What happened?.'

"All I want is for you to be more careful, what if Aki finds out? Aki will be hurt." Her voice was now pleading, nag mamakaawa na mag ingat si Dad sa kung ano man ang pinag uusapan nila.

"Wag muna ngayon Zach, hindi ko pa din kaya. Hindi ko kaya." That's the last thing I heard before I heard the door closed.

Mabagal ang pag lalakad ko na bumalik sa kwarto ko, wala akong naintindihan, gusto kong pumasok doon at tanungin kung ano ang nangyayari, gusto kong mag tanong kung bakit umiiyak si Mom. Gusto ko siyang yakapin at patahanin pero may pumipigil sa akin na wag nalang makielam at manahimik nalang.

I sat down on my bed feeling weak, the hunger I felt earlier suddenly disappeared. I just stared at the door where I entered. I was just there staring at the door for a few minutes before turning off the light and going to bed. I also lost my appetite because of what I heard.

'I know what's happening, I just don't
want to accept it.'

Nakatalikod na nag kumot ako at pinikit ang mata, iniiwasang mag isip ng kung ano ano. Nakarinig naman ako ng pag bukas ng pinto, hindi ako lumingon. Hinayaan ko lang iyon at nag kunwaring tulog.

"Aki, are you asleep?" She softly said, It's Mom.

Hindi ako nag salita, hindi ko din minulat ang mata ko. Naramdaman ko naman ang pag lubog ng side nang kama ko sign na umupo siya sa kabilang gilid. Hinimas pa nito ng bahagya ang buhok ko.
