Redemption

Chapter 7:

     "You look nice Rudy Booty!" I rolled my eyes at Cam and sat down in the seat putting my seat belt on. "Hey Rudy!" I looked back and saw Mari and some chick sitting in the back seat. "Heyy boo wussup?" "Oh um Cayla this is Rudy. Rudy this my lil sister Cayla." We waved at each other and I turned around as Cam pulled outta the driveway.

     "So what theatre we going to?" I asked Cam. "Dolby theatre." Cam looked over at me and smirked. She so lame I bet she said we should go to this theatre cause she know I work there. 20 minutes of driving and listening to her stupid K. Camp CD we pulled into the theatre.

     Jamal, Sylus, Erin, and Melvin was already there waiting on us. "Wusssuuuup!" We walked up to everyone and was greeting each other until something caught my eye. I had to double take a couple times but my eyes wasn't deceiving me. Devin Williams and Mariah Gates. Was making their way over to me.

     I grabbed Cam's hand and pulled her close to me. "Play along..." I whispered as we walked over to meet him and the she devil halfway. "I just was coming over to you, how you been?" He asked giving me an evil smile. "I've been good. Why you was coming over to me?" I gave him an evil smirk and he stared Cam up and down.

     "So you moved on?" He asked still lockin eyes with Cam. "Yup just like you. Awww you wanted me to chase you didn't you? Huh. Not this time boo." After I said that I did the unthinkable. I turned my face and kissed Cam on the lips. His eyes grew big and he stormed off with his girlfriend.

     "Damn... I'm so sorry Cam I ain't mean to do it that far I was stuck in the moment." She just stared at me and nodded. This moment was awkward as hell. I let her go and quickly walked off to where everybody else was. "I saw that." Jamal whispered to me. I gave him a look of sympathy and he nodded slightly.

     It was our turn to get our tickets now. I was taking my money out to pay for my ticket when Cam dropped the money for me and her ticket in front of the lady behind the window. I looked up at her and she winked. God whyyyy. Why did her lips feel so good to me? Why did I even kiss her? Why did I get fireflies in my tummy? Ughhh!

     After everyone got their ticket to see insidious 3 we walked to the other line to get our snacks. Everyone with snacks in their hands we made our way to theatre #2. Everybody found their seats and of course I gotta sit next to Camryn. Once we sat down the credits started and I felt eyes melting through the side of my face so I looked to my left.

     "Cam why are you staring?" I asked her getting slightly annoyed. "We gotta talk about that kiss. I know you felt what I felt." She whispered. I ignored her. Like bro it was akward enough don't make it worse by talking about it.

     The movie finally started. It was straight at first but then shit started popping outta no where! And then the people was screaming and crap not making it any better.

     On one scene the screen went black and then it popped back on. Laaaaaawd! My face was buried in Cam's neck and my hand was held tight on her shirt. Every time a scary scene came on I either head butted her or scratched her. All the girly girls and Melvin was screaming and jumping. Cam was laughing her ass off but I ain't find nothing funny. I barely even ate my popcorn.

     The movie ended at around 10:00. We all hugged and all that good stuff then we split up. Cam thought she was slick cause she dropped everybody off before me. "I'm sorry for kissing you Cam. I was stuck in a moment." I told her before I got out the car. "Its okay Rudy Booty. Lets look past that. Friends?" "Friends." We hugged and she kissed my forehead then I got out to go to in the house.

     I aint even get the key in the door all the way when it was swung open. Sylvia stood there leaning obviously drunk. "So you back liking girls now? Your ass said you was going out to the movies with friends not no damn dyke! Don't ask me to go no where else! Slick ass motha fucka! Take your ass in that room ion wanna see your lien ass face no more!" She screamed with her hands all in my face. "Whatever.." I made my way  to my room and slammed the door.

     Just as I plopped down in the bed my phone rung.
       Yes Cam?
       I just wanted to say goodnight Rudy Booty.
        Goodnight Cam. What else you wanted?
        Okay you got me. I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the beach with me and my family tomorrow?
       I wish I could but Sylvia tappin she spazzed out on me and said don't ask her to go no where else.
        Damn. Well I guess some other time. Goodnight Boo.
