Chapter 36: New Problems

       "So wussup sis what you had to talk to me about?"Jamal asked as we sat across from each other at the lunch table. I've been noticing some weird stuff going on with Cam. She been acting kinda off and I know it's her who's been around the crib leaving presents and stuff. Every since me and Rory been goin together she been acting. "You notice anything kinda off about Cam lately?" I asked him looking at the disgusting tray of food sitting in front of me. He gave me this weird look but shrugged.

     "She dont really talk to me no more. Especially after I told her there was no future in y'all. She really got mad and I haven't talked to her since. I asked the crew if they hear from her anymore but they say no..." he explained taking sips from his chocolate milk carton. I tilted my head and shook it. "I realized what the hell is really wrong with Cam a couple days ago. She's obsessed with me. She's supposed to be a ladies girl but got caught up in feeling me when I wasn't feeling her." I told him shaking my head.

     "I thought we had a solid friendship. I thought that she was cool with me actually liking Rory kinda. I mean yea we had our moments but I ain't wanna move further cause I wasn't into havin a relationship especially not with a player. But when Rory came around she showed me different and I liked it." I informed him as tears welled in my eyes. "Man sis don't cry. This what Cam get for playing people. For the first time she met her match and got let down. Don't feel bad as long as you happy." He said collecting our trays and getting up to throw them away just as Rory was approaching the table.

      "But look sis ima holla at you later I gotta meet up with bae. Love you stay safe. Wussup bro?" He asked as he waved me bye and dapped Rory up. "Okay bye bro. Love you too and same..." I said getting up meeting Rory half way. "Hey baby wussup? You sick?" She asked looking me all in my face. I'm guessing my face was red from tearing up and stuff. I shook my head no and she wrapped her arm around my waist walking me outta the cafeteria.

     "So how'd the meeting go with the basketball coach?" I asked curiously as we headed to my 5th block class. She smiled wide and stood back posing. "I'm on the team baby!" She said looking very excited. "Thats wussup spooduh!" I squealed huggin her tight. 'Spooduh' is a nickname I gave her ion know where it came from all I know is I was laying on her chest and called her it outta the blue. She liked it so there it is!

      "So you coming to our first game which is December 14th the day before winter break? Which is next week." She asked me wrapping her arms around me and kissing my cheek. "Of course babe. Ima be there with a shirt that says Go Rory! And on the back it's gone say With Your Sexy Self!" I said causing us both to laugh. "You hell bae! But let me go before I get detention for being late again I love youuuu Sexy." She said poking her bottom lip out. I sucked it in my mouth and laughed at the facial expression she made. "I love you too spooduh see you later!" I laughed again walking into class.

      As I was about to take my seat my phone vibrated and I looked down to see a couple new text messages. Some I missed from earlier and one I just got.

      J-Mal: Aye sis there's this party tonight at Erin crib. Its a celebrity themed party so come dressed as a celeb! It start at 9! Its for her 19th birthday! Be there love you sis!

       Me: You know I'm coming! But I love you too bro! And you throwing my 18th party ugly!

      J-Mal: I gotcha sis!

      Cam: We need to talk.. Meet me at the McDonald's on Buckshire Ave. After work.

       Me: We'll see.

       Cam: Please.

      Spooduhh: Omg what you did was turn on! And booooooy when I get my hands on you it's a wrap!
