Chapter 9: Mood Swings

The next morning I awoke to all these idiots in my room watching tv. Once I sat up and stretched all eyes were on me. "Good Morning sleeping beauty!" "Morning Rudy Booty!" "Morning Dragon breath.. " they went on. "Good morning tweedle dumbs." We shared a laugh then I got up to go shower.

"Why you half naked? You and Cam must've had a wild night before we came!" Melvin joked. I rolled my eyes and pushed the dresser from in front of my room door. "She could never." I smirked at Cam and went off to take my shower.

Once the water was on I let it soak my entire body except my hair since I washed it last night. After about 45 minutes of washing and repeating I got out and wrapped my towel around me. By the time I got in my room everybody was gone. Probably to get dressed and coming back. I sat down on my bed and decided to text Jamal since he always the one calling the shots.

Me: Whats the game plan today?
J-Mal: We fina slide to the beach I ain't know if you could go that's why I ain't ask.. sorry ma.
Me: Oh I'm going! I ain't fina be here by myself.. What time?
J-Mal: Erin say everybody sliding at 1. Call Cam to come get you. Ima have Sylus, Melvin, and my twin lil brothers. Erin riding with Mari and her sisters. So you Cam and Cayla can ride together.
Me: I ain't ask for no damn paragraph nigguh but iight cool!

After I got done texting Jamal I got up and did my hygiene. As I was tryna find me a bikini Cam called. I can only imagine what she want.

Yes Camryn?
Don't play. You coming with us?
Yes...
Oh iight I'll be there at 12:30 you better be ready.
Bye Camryn.
Bye bae...

I hung up on her and laughed. She know damn well I ain't her bae and ain't tryna be her bae. Shaking my damn head. I found a pink and turquoise bikini to put on. The bra part was all pink with a turqoiuse trim and turquoise bow in the front. It tied around the neck and the sides. Now the bottom was all pink with turquoise trimmings and a huge turquoise bow on the back. They made like boy shorts and Yaaas my cheeks hangin out! I threw a black shawl over it and put on my black sandals.

After I got done getting dressed I brushed my hair up into a tight slick pony tail and threw on some gold hoops, gold bracelets, and a gold necklace with my name in it. I look sooooo good I mean I'd stop and look at me too. But then again I can look better... look at this forehead and I need to gain some weight. Ughhh!

**BEEEEP BEEEEP!!!**

I looked out my window and saw Cam sitting in the car waving for me to come on. I put some shorts on under my shawl and a tank top over my bikini top. Ion need nobody looking at me all weird. After that I got my beach bag, towel, and my phone and headed out.

"Took you long enough." Cam snapped as I sat in the seat. I glared at her, waved at Cayla, and sat back in my seat putting my seat belt on. Seems like somebody ain't in a good mood. I can careless though. I felt my phone vibrate and saw that Carri text me. From the corner of my eye I saw Cam glance over at my phone and frown. She can't get mad though I told her how I felt about relationships and catching feelings.

"What wrong Cam?" "None I'm just coolin it." I just stared at her. She can't lie to me at all. But I just let it go. I turned up the radio to let this negative vibe go cause I really don't have time. "Cam what you acting like that for? You tappin my shit!" "If I'm tappin call somebody to come get you." With that she pulled over on the side of the road. We were halfway to the beach but you know what I ain't worried. "Dumb bitch." I mumbled and slammed her door. She pulled off as fast as she could go I ain't worried.

Me: Jamal. Your girl tappin. She put me outta her car. I ain't even do nothing to her. Can you pick me up? I'm at the gas station before you reach the beach.
J-Mal: Um yea.. it's barely room but I'm right down the road anyway so might as well.

When Jamal got here I just hopped in the front with him and Melvin. We both small enough to fit into the front seat. We finally reached the beach and found a good parking spot. I took my tank top and shorts off and placed them in my bag. Jamal called and asked Mari where they was and they was at 'the usual spot' and that's where we went.
