Chapter 21: Shaken Up

Rudy

"Oh my goodness Rory!! Please shuuuut up! Why are you even sitting next to me with your aggy self?" I laughed as she sung 'Take Me' by Sammie to me. She's been trying to be extra friendly with me and all she do is aggravate me. And the bad part about this is she's my Art project partner. Our art project is to come up with our own city, rules, and all that good stuff. It all has to be made 3D.

I've been making everything really cause some dummy always wanna play. "Rudy will you marry me?" She asked. Everyone turned their attention to us and she was down on one knee with a paper ring she made out of pink construction paper. I laid my head in my hands and laughed so hard cause she so stupid.

"Stop it Rory. You're embarrassing me..." I mumbled in between my fingers. I felt her get up and get back in her seat then she started singing some other song. "Rory shut up. Rory shut up. Rory shut the hell up!" I half yelled. She laughed at me and kissed my cheek. I shook my head and started back doing the work we had to do.

"I think we should name our city Rody Hills." She told me taking the pencil and erasing the name I chose which was 'Sunshine City' but she said she ain't like that cause it was lame. I let her change the name and gave her the board so she could start drawing the roads while I made the houses and buildings outta cardboard.

"Mrs. DeLeon can I go use the bathroom?" I asked my teacher getting up from my seat. She nodded her head and I made my way outta the door. I ain't wanna go to the C hallway bathroom cause its always nasty so I walked the halls to B hallway bathroom but stopped in my tracks when I saw Tara and Cam standing together.

"Tara you know I love you girl. You need to stop playing yourself." Cam told her. I leaned up against the lockers quietly and listened to their conversation. Cam's back was to me so she couldn't see me but Tara was holding eye contact with me.

"I know you love me Camryn. But you gotta show me that you don't want Rudy." She told her smirking at me. I smirked back but kept my strong gaze. She wasn't making me mad at all cause who the fuck cares about a bih liking them or not? I mean what is she trying to prove? "Okay well when the bell ring I gotcha babie." Cam told her leaning down and kissing her lips.

"No need to. I'm right here. I heard everything and I can careless if you like me or not I wasn't feeling you like that. Yea we kissed a couple times but so what you don't see me falling at your feet. The fuck outta here." O walked off after that. Cam looked as if she saw a ghost. She know it wasn't my intentions to get with her anyway. That was her thirsty ass wanting to be all over me.

I finally made my way into the bathroom and handled my business. I wasn't even thinking about Cam's bum ass all I know is today after work I'm going to get all my shit outta her house and I'm sliding to Jamal's house. His mom said whenever I need a get away I can come to her house. Ill only be there two days cause today Wednesday and Friday me and Gina calling off work to go apartment hunting and hopefully we can move in Saturday. Once I got done washing my hands my phone vibrated.

So we not going on a date no more?

I ain't even read her last text I just put my phone in my pocket and walked back to my classroom.

I watched Rudy and Rory walk outta class all happy and stuff. It makes me mad as hell to see that shit. How the hell she gone get mad at me for being with Tara when she won't be my girl. That's bull shit!

"So about that date tonight.. We going or what?" Rory asked her with her arm around Rudy's waist. My blood started boiling and I'm gone lose my mind if she go on a date with Rory lame ass. "I told you yea girl dang! Now walk me to my next class!" Rudy replied. I felt my heart pound and my anger rising. I stopped in my tracks and just stared with a frown on my face. My feelings are very hurt right now.

"Bro what the hell Rudy doing with the new girl? I thought you was working on getting with her?" Melvin asked walking close to me. I sighed and shook my head as a single tear slipped from my eye. "Man you just don't know." I shook my head and walked away running into Tara aggy ass. Even though she my girl and I love her she piss me off sometimes.

"Babe. Amanda wanted to apologize for hitting you. But she was afraid to tell you cause she said she ain't want y'all to jump her." "Naw she good." I told her before bumping my way past her walking to the class that me and Rudy share this period. Oh great!
I walked in a little before the bell rung and saw Rudy sitting down texting away on her phone. I sighed a long sigh then took my seat next to her but not making any kind of contact. "Okay class take out your notebooks and get ready to take notes..." Mr. Jones our pre-calculus teacher said before pulling up his PowerPoint.
"Can I have a pen?" I asked Rudy even though I had my own. I just wanted to see if she would give me one but she completely ignored me and started copying the notes. I nodded my head and pulled a pen outta my pocket. Her phone vibrated right after and I looked over and read the text.

She was smiling back as she text her back. She ain't even let me call her bae so what the hell makes Rory abusive ass so different from me? I play yawned and stretched knocking her phone outta her hand. She pushed me outta my chair, picked up her phone, and slapped me with it.

"Don't play with me Camryn. You know my temper already bad you better go find your lil girlfriend before I hurt your feelings." She snapped. I laughed at her and sat back in my seat. "You in love with me. Don't front girl." I smirked. "If I'm in love with you, why I go with Rory?" Her words stung worse than when she slapped me with her phone..

My smirk had quickly faded and I turned my attention from her before I started to cry. "I'll be by your house later to pick up my stuff." She whispered after a while. "Where you gone go?" I asked her. "Oh ion know I think ima go stay with Rory at her house for these last couple of days before me and Gina get our place." Before I knew it my hands were around her throat squeezing as tight as possible.

Her face was turning red and her eyes started to water. The teacher was pulling at my wrists trying to get me to let go but I wouldn't let up. I stared at her for a while till I decided to let go. "Camryn get out of my class!!!! Security will be here soon!!" My teacher screamed slamming his phone down.

As soon as I turned my face from the teacher to look at Rudy she punched me dead in the face sending me flying outta my chair. I tried to get up on my feet but she was already there throwing punches as fast as she could go. I ain't wanna hit her back but my body got a mind of it's own and I started fighting back. We was going at it blow for blow.

Security finally came and snatched us away from each other. "Rudy I'm sorry." I whispered after they took her away first. On the way to the office I saw Rory standing there talking to some boy from our class. She made eye contact with me giving me a mug. I mugged her back and smirked.
