Rashad is the God of Light. As patron of all things bright, he quite literally has the brightest personality amongst the gods. He's always smiling and always looking for a way to bring light so someone's day. While he's not afraid to lay down the holy law, he mostly prefers to look on the bright side of things. His enthusiasm can be blinding, literally and metaphorically, to both mortals and fellow gods.

His job is to bring light to the world, and chase away the shadows. For this purpose, he is often seen as the ultimate defense against evil, and his name is often invoked in the face of danger as a form of protection. His light can purify the darkest of souls and stand strong against the blackest of shadows. It's for this reason that he's widely hated by the Dark Gods, Phi, the God of Darkness, especially.

But Rashad is also associated with children. Everyone is born with a little spark of light within them, a potential to do great things. Rashad is the one that gives them that light, that potential. When a child is born, Rashad creates a spark for that particular child, tailored to what he views them as. As the child grows, they discover the purpose of that light and nurture it to the best of their abilities. Those who fully embrace their spark and use it to help others are known as the Children of Rashad; those who ignore their spark and take another path are known as Wayward Children, and Rashad will always grieve for them in his heart.

What do you think of God Rashad?

And spread your wings, because Hoji is up next!

To keep the list going, who do you want to see as a god next?

Also, I have Illiya and Bashara on the list because I'd feel guilty if I didn't include them, but I'm having trouble deciding on what they would be the gods of. What do you think they should be?
