Hoji is the God of Birds. As the patron of the winged creatures, he has a high-flying personality that prefers to stay in the air rather than on the ground, and encourages others to always shoot for the skies. That being said, he has a kind of mother-hen attitude when it comes to protecting those he cares for, like his birds or his followers.
He created every species of bird on the planet. He creates them using whatever materials he has on hand and then using his breath to breathe life into them, making him one of the handful of deities who can create life from scratch. The idea of flying and freedom appeals to his ideals so much that once they've been created, he sends them out into the world so they can "fly on their own wings". He relies on other nature gods, like Yugo and Free, Gods of the Forest and Forest Animals respectively, to shelter them when he cannot. Yet when his children call for him, he answers. And if angered enough, he can transform into an aviator predator of Titanic proportions.
