2020 was the first and only year that I participated in Inktober. All the years following, I was either too busy or I just didn't want to do it.
One of the prompts that year was "Bulky". For that prompt, I drew Xander Shakadera from Beyblade Burst and Cole Brookstone from Ninjago because they were the bulkiest characters from my two favorite shows at the time.

I like to think that my art style has improved a lot since then. I don't think my skill with drawing muscles has improved much, though.
Kirby Morrow, Cole's voice actor from all the way back when the series first started, died on November 18 of that same year due to a long battle with alcohol abuse. A lot of Ninjago fans, including myself, were very upset with the news, because in a way, our favorite black ninja had died as well.
Imagine my surprise when I learned that Andrew Francis, the guy that voiced Xander during seasons 1 and 2 of Burst, would be succeeding Kirby as Cole's voice actor. It was like my favorite shows were coming together at last!

Ninjago: Virtues of Spinjitzu, the mini season where Andrew's voice as Cole's was first revealed, wasn't released until January 11 of 2022.
