Natasha Romanoff sat in a discrete basement looking at the woman in front of her. She was helping put a bandage around her arm while looking over a set of blueprints the pair had. The blonde woman looked at her and sighed.

Yelena: Well, this is shit.

Natasha: You're telling me.

It had been years since Natasha had seen her adoptive sister, Yelena Belova. In all honesty, she thought her sister didn't want to see her. However, when she reached out to the ex-assassin with important news and told to meet in private, she knew things must be up. Apparently, her sister had just escaped from the Red Room's control and was reaching out for help.

That was now twice Natasha had thought she was done with the Red Room. The first was when she killed its head, Dreykov, during her defection to S.H.I.E.L.D. Then, a few months ago,  she and Captain Carter had found that the Red Room had fallen under the control of her once adoptive mother, Melina Vostokoff, and had been using the Hydra Stomper as their personal soldier. With Peggy, the two were able to stop the Red Room, resulting in Melina's death and the destruction of Dreykov's Red Room facility.

But now, Yelena had told her there was apparently a New Red Room that had survived after the destruction of Melina's efforts. They were also being led by an entity known simply as Taskmaster, a soldier with the ability to mimic any fighter's abilities. They were also using a new drug that took control of a Widow's mind and forced them to act against their will. The drug had been a pet project of Melina's, but was never put into effect until after her death.

Natasha didn't want to believe it. That was until Yelena and her were involved in a shoot out with several Widows and a car chase with Taskmaster himself. The two were now hiding out in the back ends of Budapest.

To make matters worse, the two spies had enough information to suspect that the Red Room had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and had been operating inside it since the early 90s. Natasha couldn't rely on her usual contacts this time.

However, there was believed to be an antidote to the drug. Yelena had once been under the control of the drug before being sprayed with a red mist made by an older Widow. She believed the drug had been synthesized in secret, but the Red Room had found out and taken it before more Widows could be freed.

The red mist was now being held in a secure facility, waiting for transport. The two were looking over the blueprints for the facility and trying to think about how they could break in undetected. A government facility was one thing. A facility operated by the Red Room was something else. Yelena had reached out to Natasha for help from some possibly big guns.

Yelena: You know, when I called you, I'd hoped you'd be able to call one of your Avengers buddies. Maybe get the super soldier or the god from space to take it all down.

Natasha: Thor's off world and Peggy's on her own mission on the other side of the world.

Yelena: What? The super soldier trying to find her armored boyfriend?

Natasha: Something like that, yeah.

Yelena: Well that's just great. So you really don't know anyone who may be useful in this situation and not canon fodder?

Natasha thought for a moment. There was one person she knew. Someone who was notorious for these types of jobs and had been successful in doing them before.

Natasha: Well, there is one guy I may know.
