Located in an open field outside San Francisco, the A.I.M. facility sat with its guards on patrol. They were told to keep watch and report any and all activities. Several agents patrolled the main entrance with more by the loading dock.
Inside the facility, Hank was finishing up his repairs on the quantum tunnel. He had solved the buildup problem while creating a new solution to his own. The energy could be transferred to a portable generator and redirected back into the tunnel, allowing someone to be sent through and pulled back out like a decompression chamber.
MODOK watched Pym with a cautious eye. He monitored everything the old man did. Starr grumbled to himself, annoyed that he was once again upstaged by the great Hank Pym.
Suddenly, the alarms in the facility began to blare. Something had been spotted outside and it was making its way towards them. MODOK pulled up a monitor on his chair and spoke on the PA system while watching security footage of outside.
MODOK: Report to your stations. All agents, be on guard. This is not a drill. Fight to the last man standing. And if any of you allow them through without going down in the process, then I shall take you down myself!
He grinned as he looked at the video on the monitor. His plan was coming together.
Outside, the agents reported to their stations. They grabbed their weapons and took positions on the facility's turrets. They all pointed their weapons at the approaching figure.
The ground shook as a loud thud could be heard. It was followed by more thuds. The looming figure of Goliath stepped closer towards the facility. He was at least 80 feet tall. Behind his blue visor, his eyes glared down at all the soldiers below him.
Raz: You have something that belongs to me! Release my friend or suffer the consequences!
The agents all pointed their guns at him and powered them on. Goliath looked down at all of them, a grin appearing behind his helmet.
Raz: Have it your way, then.
The agents all fired at the giant man. Yellow bolts of energy streaked across the sky as they hit the man in blue and white. They had little effect on Raz, his giant state making him much more durable. He swatted his hand, blocking the bolts that flew right towards his head. He then took a giant step forward and broke through the outer wall around the perimeter.
Raz continued to walk through the field towards the facility. A group of drones were released from the roof and flew towards him. They tried to bring the giant man down, but were swatted away by his large hand.
