Y/N and Peter were about ready to get into position. They both looked over their suits to make sure everything was ready for the battle ahead.

Peter: You all good?

Y/N: Yeah. You?

Peter: Web fluid levels are good. Suit integrity is stable.

Y/N: Great. Pym Particles are filled.

Miles then walked over to them with a suggestion for Y/N.

Miles: Hey, so... if we really want to take this Thanos guy out, why don't you...

He trailed off while making a motion with his hands.

Y/N: Why don't I what?

Miles: You know? Crawl inside and...

He made an expanding motion with his fingers. Y/N was finally catching on to what he was saying.

Y/N: Okay, first off, gross. Second, this Thanos guy sounds incredibly tough. For all I know, his intestines could crush me if I tried to expand. That's not to mention the gauntlet of magical space rocks at his disposal.

Miles: Worth a shot anyway.

He shrugged and jumped off, getting into position. Y/N shook his head and chuckled while looking at Peter. The two sighed before looking back over at each other.

Peter: You know, this could really be it. For any of us. This is probably the biggest threat we've ever faced.

Y/N: We'll pull through. We always do.

Peter: How can you be sure?

Y/N: Because the universe is relying on us too.

Peter: Story of our lives.

Y/N: You bet it is.

They shared a light chuckle together. They both then began thinking about everything that had led up to this moment. The stones, New York, the formation of the Avengers. Y/N turned to his friend and fellow founding Avenger.

Y/N: God. Seeing all this, I keep forgetting that it's only been seven years. And how it all started. Look at us. A high school nerd and an ex-convict. Now we're punching aliens and saving the world.

Peter: Pretty chaotic mess of a story. But seeing it all, preparing for what's about to come... I'm glad that you're the one by my side.

Y/N: So am I. Just don't die on me. You hear?

Peter: Only if you don't go out on me.

They shared a fist bump before closing their masks and jumping into position.

Thanos stepped through the blue portal he had conjured up and out onto Titan. He looked around at the desolate planet, noting the destroyed Q-ship. He turned and saw Doctor Strange sitting on a chunk of debris looking at him.

Strange: Oh, yeah. You're much more of a Thanos.

Thanos: I take it Maw is dead.

Strange looked at him and nodded his head.

Thanos: This day extracts a heavy toll. Still, he accomplished his mission.

Strange: You may regret that. He brought you face-to-face with the Master of the Mystic Arts.
