'Changes'

When the siblings finally arrived home, minus Five, the house was quiet. Too quiet. The kind of quiet that immediately twists your stomach into a knot of unease.

Rose furrowed her eyebrows and spun around the entrance way with suspicion etched across her features. Now of course the house was never loud, hell there was hardly any noise whatsoever, but this was different. The air was thick with tension and Rose watched as Diego couldn't conceal the shiver which crept up his spine.

She reached foward to grasp Klaus' hand gently and he quickly grasped onto hers, hopping for some comfort. The twins turned to Diego with a look as if to ask if he knew what had happened here but he just shrugged.

In that same moment, Luther's bulky frame emerged from a hallway to the left and Rose immediately tensed at the look on his face. He seemed conflicted, slightly nervous, and avoided eye contact with any of his siblings. instantly, her thoughts went to Allison. Had something happened to her while they were gone?

"I have to show you something." Luther spoke ominously.

Not one of them moved, all frozen on their feet. After a few moments of silence, Rose opened her mouth to speak but Luther quickly interrupted.

"Please. Just follow me."

Rose was beyond angry. Anger couldn't even begin to describe her emotions in that moment. Fury, rage, irritation were not strong enough to even attempt to explain how she felt. She was so sick of Luther trying to be in charge, so angry at what he had done, so repulsed by his actions that no words came to her.

In front of five of the Hargreeves siblings stood a huge... prison? It looked somewhat like a box with a small window on the door and a large wheel to lock it from the outside. The sort of wheel you would find on a bank vault. Inside the box, a furious and terrified Vanya pounded against the glass yelling and screaming at them but no sound reached their ears. How long had this prison been in their basement? More importantly, how long had poor Vanya been trapped inside?

"You..." Rose began, trembling with anger. "You did this?"

"Yes." Luther replied simply as if it was the most obvious solution to the 'problem'. He had told them everything that Pogo had told him, every detail of Vanya's ability and the extreme power she supposedly held.
