The siblings had run the entire mile to the theatre in sheer desperation and panic, which left Rose with an awful cramp in her stomach and a shortness of breath. She stood on shaky legs, hunched over as she watched her siblings attempt to get their bearings.
Allison swatted Luther on the shoulder with her notebook and a look of distress. Luther groaned and shook his head when he read what she was trying to tell him.
'I need to go alone'
"Allison, I can't let you do that, alright?" Luther sighed. "She's beyond reasoning."
Allison glared daggers into Luther. Seriously, if looks could kill he would be long gone.
"You hear the music?" Diego questioned, bitterly "It's started." Although she would hate to admit it, Diego was right. They needed to hurry up and do something.
"Do you honestly think she's gonna listen? After everything that's happened?"
Allison didn't back down, continuing to stare into Luthers's soul until he was shuffling awkwardly on his feet.
"We don't have time for this." Klaus groaned, pacing back and fourth as he rubbed his hands down his face.
"I'll go with her." Rose interrupted. She moved closer to Allison, placing a hand on her shoulder and nodding at Luther. Her sister stared at her, conflicted. "I know it's not technically on your own, but- I want to help. Vanya is just frightened. She never meant to hurt any-"
"Okay." Luther stopped her rambling, not wanting to listen to her defend Vanya. "Okay." Rose smiled and nodded at him again before grabbing Allison's hand and gently pulling her into the auditorium.
They didn't make it very far when they entered the room. Not because anybody was stopping them, not physically. But it was the pure shock and awe of seeing Vanya playing first chair in the Orchestra that pinned their feet to the ground.
They were stood at the end of the isle, about three metres from the stage- much to the annoyance of the audience members who loudly tutted and whispered at and about them.
It didn't phase Rose slightly though, as she only my had eyes for her sister. She hadn't watched Vanya play for a long time, not since they were children and she had certainly improved since then. Maybe it was her so-called 'powers' manipulating her Violin abilities, but Rose had never heard a more beautiful song.
