A/N Hello! It's me, Marella. I just want to thank you guys for the amount of views, support and followers I've gotten. This is a special chapter for all of you! I hope you guys enjoy, it's in Lyndsey's perspective. This will hopefully tell you a bit more about her as right now, you're probably feeling a bit cold towards her because she's trying to stop Lia and Eliana's friendship. Please sit back, take some refreshments (imaginary lushberry juice and mallowmelt) and enjoy! :)

I stared at the floor, waiting for my mother to scream at me. Instead, she pulled me into a hug (she came up to my ear) and whispered, "Have a good day at school." This must be a sign she was visiting Fluttermont to see my grandma and grandpa. I waved at her before light-leaping with Waylen to get to Foxfire. He ditched me first thing so I went to my locker and got unpacked.

The DNA strip today tasted like fresh custard bursts. I savoured it before the locker clicked open and I got busy, trying to figure out where my timetable was and where the right books were until a voice next to me went, "Boo!" I screeched and I saw Finn smirking at me. I knew I was turning the same colour as my hair.

"Hello Binn, I mean Finn!" I said brightly. In my mind, I thought, Binn? The hell? He laughed at me. You're still scared of me. Wow. Come on, I need to show you this amazing place I found in the elemental wing!"

I raised my eyebrows. "Why me?" then I inwardly cursed. I ruined my chances to walk with him! Dang it. I would have to be more careful. Well, if he still wanted to be friends.

He just smiled. "Because I found you! I didn't find Waylen yet." He frowned. "I bet he's hiding from me. Oh well! You don't remind me of him, you guys aren't really alike." He dragged me off to the elemental wing where he flashed in and out of sight. Then, he used his Shade ability and the dust on the floor raised up. Well I thought it was dust. (A/N At the word dust, it was 365 words! Like the amount of days in a year)

The shadowvapour raised itself from the ground and coated us in a layer. I screamed but I didn't fight it. I trusted Finn. Suddenly, we were transported to a cliff and I sat down to gather my thoughts.

"What are we doing here?" I whisper-shouted at him. He glared at me. "I thought you wanted to see?" "This is creepy!" I yelled back.

He sighed. "Fine." We came back the same way. Finn growled, "Never come see me again." He seemed really cross. Our friendship was really over, he didn't like me anymore! How could the Finder ship set sail if we aren't even friends? I buried my head into my arms and slid to the ground.

I didn't see Finn leave or Eliana arrive. She hummed a little tune before skipping over to the locker next to mine, her locker. As she licked the panel, she frowned. "Lyndsey! Get up, do you know how dirty the floor could be?" I raised my tear-stained face. This is the Lost Cities. Nothing is dirty." I dunked my head back down.

Eliana sighed. "Fine! But, Lia's coming over soon. And she probably will want to talk to me." She slammed her locker shut and marched off to the other side.

Great. I lost two friends in less than ten minutes. I was always jealous from the first moment I met Lia. She had manifested into an elemental ability and could relate with Eliana. Lia was also popular and had a powerful older brother to stick up for her. Waylen barely even talked to me, let alone 'stick up' for me.

When Eliana started hanging out with Lia, I felt jealous. I had no friends and she chose me yet she chose Lia too. Lia was so much smarter and more powerful than me. I always tried to impress her but I knew that she started to hate me now. I was just a pawn in her game, kind and pretty but easily manipulated. When she rose to power, I meant nothing to her.

Today, I decided to be a teacher's pet in order to gain her favour. I raced to my Inflicting class with Lady Elizabeth. She sat there, not impressed. "You're late again. Sit down." I scrambled into a chair in front of her and gazed intensely, listening to every word. She waved her hands.

"When inflicting is happening, you must pour all of the emotions you've been holding back. Emotions will cloud your vision or your mind and let it come forward. But, if you are inflicting with warm emotions, pour kindness, thoughtfulness, happiness, peace and hope all into the person you're inflicting into. Try on me."

I tried to feel the anger. I couldn't muster any until I thought of Lia. Anger, hate, fear rushed into my mind and I pushed it out, getting rid of the cloud hanging over my fate. When I could see again, Lady Elizabeth lay on the floor, knocked out.

I rushed forward and tapped her shoulder. "Lady Elizabeth? Lady Elizabeth! LADY ELIZABETH!!" I screamed. She sat up unsteadily and gasped. "Never mention this to anyone. Or, you'll be in real danger," she hissed, embarrassed but angry. I nodded and ran away quickly. This was a real thing to keep secret. And how much I wanted to tell someone, I was too afraid of her.
