*͓⁀➷ ❝ THE REESE FAMILY WAS A GROUP OF SO CALLED RELATIVES, created by centuries of arranged marriages — none ended well, one partner always committed suicide or died at a young age — and most likely inbreeding. They were a mess, to put it simply. Everyone's opinions were ridiculed and dismissed, especially if you were a teen or younger. When you're trans however, it doesn't matter how old you are, because you're irrelevant and the family disappointment. Finding someone to support you within this toxic family was a struggle, as it was although everyone's mind was wired to ruin others lives.

*͓⁀➷ ❝ CAM HAD JOINED JACOB'S AGENCY when he was 12. He hadn't wanted to, but his parents didn't want to deal with a child who could see visitors, and ruined their family image, not only by being trans and gay — "it'll set you up for failure," his parents would tell him constantly — but having talent. They found those with the talent disgusting and unnatural, not caring if they rid the world of ghosts. Unfortunately, Jacobs was just as shit as Cam had imagined it. Mr. Jacob was a massive transphobe, and he couldn't find anyone who would listen to him, until Norrie came. The two of them were like two peas in a pod. They shared similar interests, and they just clicked; one being an introvert and the other an extrovert. Neither of them would trade this friendship for anything.
