CAM'S POINT OF VIEW

THE group of five stood in the kitchen, a small light in the corner being used as the main light source, giving the room a warm glow. Lockwood, Annie and George were all leaning against the back countertops and sink, while Lucy and Cam stood opposite them at the end of the table.

"I didn't know it was the source," Lucy explained, "I just took it because, it's like I can feel what she feels, what she wants,"

Cam observed the golden ring that was contained in a silver case, placed on the centre of the table. The ring was fairly small, with four green gemstones — highly likely to be emeralds —, it would have seemed like a regular ring to any stranger who found it. It just had a nasty secret behind it.

"It's hard to explain," she continued, fiddling with one of the polaroid's laid out across the table.

Cam looked over at the others, who didn't seem to be following what she said; Lockwood, like always though, remained professional and focused. He had this way of keeping his calm during stressful or tense situations, only showing any signs of panic in deeply severe situations.

Cam envied him for it.

Taking a moment to process Lucy's information, he questioned what it could be, "A psychic connection?"

"Yes!" she exclaimed, "I literally cannot believe you stole a source from a crime scene," George interrupted, "DEPRAC will bury us," he proclaimed.

"Excuse me, I'm not the only one 'round here who steals sources. What about that ridiculous skull you're always experimenting on?" she quipped back.

He was quick to shut his mouth, an unpleased expression plastered on his face. He noticed a small smile creep up on Annie's face.

"Annabel was stuck behind a wall for 40 years with nobody knowing, and DEPRAC doing sod all," Cam added onto Lucy's statements. Lucy gave him a small smile, thankful that at least one person was siding her with this.

"She needs our help," Lucy finished.

"And what does she expect you to do, exactly, after all this time?" George questioned, not believing it for a second.
